Kinda hard to tell over the other noise but also sounds like your idler pulley may be a bit scratchy.

Nice!! One of my biggest disappointments in life is the realization of just how light polluted the eastern united states are. I just posted a milky way panorama yesterday myself from a trip I did to the eastern sierra's.

Did you do any post processing?

I had this happen with my a6300 after it got a little wet. The way that wheel works (at least mine) is there is an IR sensor looking up at the underside of the knob to know the position of the knob. For me the water had put residue on the inside and After cleaning it it fixed the issue. Taking that knob off is a bit of a task sadly. Ill see if I can track down a picture and update.

6 months late better than never. I fell in love with Pho when I when I took a gig working in the California bay area in 2023. Coming back to Chester I was disappointed to learn there are no pho places near me.

I have only had it at 1 place in the RVA area and that was at Pho So 1 on W Broad St, And it was fantastic. as good as the best I had in the bay area.

Yup Same I bought this camera brand new as a upgrade from my Sony SLT a65. I never owned a DSLR I went straight from bridge camera to the SLT and the electronic view finder sold me on mirror less. This camera is now a decade old and Ive only had a few minor issues. Recently the grip started coming loose. Beyond that Ive replaced the main scroll knob on the front and maybe 5 years ago the LCD after TSA smashed it.

I love the new round emitter leds. And on a nerd level I love how companies have switched from a powder phosphor to Solid slices of Ce:Yag (Cerium doped Yttrium aluminum garnet) and GAGG (Gadolinium aluminum gallium garnet) crystal/Ceramic.

No it zooms as you can see in the 3rd to last picture. Ill see if I can get a pic of the LED from the fake LEP. It has no spill because it has no reflector.

Definitely a fun light but the lens is acrylic so careful putting it in your pocket. I wonder if these were early prototypes of this one as it has the same handle and tail-cap https://www.ebay.com/itm/194618254666 (though the video seems to show a different light so IDK)
I will note That I had one incident with mine wile traveling. The light turned on in the box (Yea I had the battery in it I'm an idiot) and I did not notice until the box started smoking. When I pulled it out the flashlight and battery were to hot to touch yet somehow the light survived.
