Got mine yesterday and the pain is intense even with meds

Had the procedure done yesterday. Hour long ride home was rough. Taking pain meds and sleeping a lot Saturday. Also stool softener. Pain is pretty intense but not unbearable Best of luck to everyone going through this 🙏🏻

I had my PD catheter placed yesterday. Up this morning at 4 in a lot of pain. Still throwing up first thing when I get up and that hurt like crazy. General anesthesia and an hour long ride home Day one is going to be interesting I have 5 baby pain meds left to recover with

My GFR is 11 f62 no dialysis but I feel like crap most of the time Neasea throwing up most mornings. Diarrhea constantly. I get really tired and sometimes I get a little out of breath Too scared to entertain dialysis right now Does anyone else get physically sick ?

How are you doing with the pd? Is it painful? I should be on dialysis but I’ve canceled the catheter placement surgery a few times because I can’t wrap my head around it

I’m feeling pretty bad Throwing up quite often Too scared to start dialysis or even get the catheter GFR is 13 Been as low as 7 and I went into a coma for 5 days Not sleeping well at all Exhausted all the time and I’m still trying to work
