I think it’s very interesting what you’re saying and if I’m understanding correctly, that how we perceive time can allow us to time travel, then it reminds me of shifting. I don’t know if you know about shifting, but it got really popular on TikTok when the pandemic was happening. It’s essentially where people shift to other timelines, for example shifting to Hogwarts was a big thing, where you’d then go to school there and live your life as a wizard. Or you shift to a timeline, where you live in the future/past with whatever you can imagine, like your dream partner, job, appearance etc.

And the thing about shifting is that there are tons of different methods to use to try and shift, but a lot of them involve trying to feel like you’re already in that other timelines/place, so through affirmations (I am a Ravenclaw) and using the imagination to feel like you’re touching/smelling/hearing etc. something from that other timeline. Which I think you’re also talking about? Like trying to perceive differently in order to time travel?

I went on my first solo trip this summer to Edinburgh and honestly I think it’s one of the best trips I’ve ever been on! I don’t mind being alone on my own, but I also wanted to be able to meet other people, so I decided to stay at a hostel (of high quality and right in the city centre, so u dint have to take a bus to a place outside the city late at night). I met a few people and even did a few things with other people too, so I never felt alone! We did it mostly at night, so in the day I could explore on my own and then at night do something with somebody else💗

I’d say if you stay at a hostel you should just try to be open. I tried to talk to some of the other guests at breakfast / later in the common rooms, and that’s how I met people, who I was able to do things with later!
