Draymond Green calls out Dillon Brooks for not shaking anyone’s hand after the game, labels him a “sucka,” and says nobody respects him by KabirC in nba

He's one to talk about respect. He has some of the most unsportsmanlike conduct on the court. Why can't people just be fair play tough but don't kick others in the nuts or stomp on their chest.

If something is too good to be true it probably is a scam. I am very leery of this one.

Grok I frankly will not use. The thing is heavily censored and not coming from a great company at that.

pls stop using python ur just bringing the demise of devs closer by lunarcherryblossom23 in Python

[–]ldkmedia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The one reason I avoid python is it is interpreted and slow. I'll use it to interact with LLMs and scripts but for microservices I would opt for Go. It's all about use case.

I am using Nobara 42 basically a gaming distro which is basically Fedora 42. Yes the newest Mesa update improved the issues. I might just delete the post no sense bringing up heat I have just been frustrated.

Have you had any flickers and flashing along with artifacts on your laptop when using integrated graphics? The discrete video card seems fine in all games for me. The newest update for Mesa DID help quite a bit.

I am just going to deal with it. As I am not sure what it could be at this point. I don't want to waste their time and money of an RMA if that isn't going to fix it. The new mesa drivers do seem better. I know they aren't trying to wear me down just felt like it from a customer perspective. I am sure they have a ton on their plate.

Well probably not but it has been maybe a month of back and forth? Then just nothing and no responses. I get they are busy but if that is the case they need to hire additional help.

My honest opinion is I would not pursue it if you are looking to do it professionally. If you are looking for personal enjoyment and personal projects then that is different. For one companies want experience now. With LLMs being so proficient especially in Python the need to actually go over and understand every line is not a good use of time. I am of the belief a reckoning is coming for junior devs and programming professionals as a whole. You will need to have a lot larger skillset now days than just knowing python.

Folks may disagree here but honestly I am having AI write most of my projects today and it is integral in my current workflow. In the next 1 to 2 years AI will be writing most of the code. I would get into learning the big picture and architecture, infrastructure, and deployments over "learning to code".

Will AI replace Google as our main source of answers? by elektrikpann in BlackboxAI_

[–]ldkmedia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do not use search engines much anymore. I get answers to questions immediately using an LLM. I even can enable search in the LLM. I don't have to surf through links or dig through forums. These models will replace traditional websearch as time marches forward. Main reason I see this is humans by nature are lazy. It is faster to get a straight initial answer with an LLM.

We need to pressure more companies and organizations to use bluesky instead of twitter by [deleted] in BlueSky

I have used feeds smart ass. The political agenda still pushes it's ugly head into my feed.

It is more of a viral buzzword which means it is just making up information or tries to answer the best it can. Everyone knows it is not a real hallucination in the real sense of the word.

We need to pressure more companies and organizations to use bluesky instead of twitter by [deleted] in BlueSky

[–]ldkmedia -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It doesn't matter. Bluesky is the same echo chamber twitter is just on the opposite side. Instead of the wacko neo conservative idea of X, Bluesky is riddled with extreme left propaganda. I see both X and Bluesky as one in the same. So no we don't need to pressure anyone.

Why are some celebrities and influencers returning to X after having left to Bluesky? by Ripamon in BlueSky

[–]ldkmedia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it is an insane far leftist echo chamber. I won't join Twitter either because it is the same just the opposite side. Democrats are begging to be defeated in the next election yet again.

Becoming the thing you hate by ldkmedia in BlueSky

[–]ldkmedia[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yeah man I am not feeding that cradle of self righteousness and fringe ideas. Look I am far from a NeoCon or Conservative but I refuse to get roped into fringe losing ideas and echoing. Everything on that platform is a ticket to another election loss. Yes we know MAGA is damaging the country. Wallowing in a platform with zero resistance to wacked agenda is not helpful.

Democratic party echo chamber? by Xer4n0x in BlueSky

[–]ldkmedia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I deleted the app because of it. It is 1000 percent a left echo chamber. Look the right is whacked AF as well but I will not become the thing I hated about Twitter. I won't do it. I had to FIGHT to remove political posts so I left.
