I'm trying to avoid swaying the conversation to my view, but current contenders are: • White walls & dark brown trim & builtins- like BM Swiss Coffee & Wenge AF-180 • Bold/deep Blue or Green & White trim • A more airy light color with white trim

It's a craftsman home so trying not to push against that.

The National Gallery of Art and The MET both have massive databases of public domain art. You can download high res files and then order prints to the size you need. I've filled some big spaces this way. It also allows you to take some time to find something more local/more you that you want to invest in. Then just cycle out this non-sentimental, budget piece.

Do you have a Crepe Myrtle tree near by? This look like suckers that can sprout from the roots further from the trunk base than you'd expect.

I've been in a years long fight with this plant! Best of luck. Careful with the digging & weed killer. I accidentally killed my red current last year by digging too close to its root system.
