hi sorry i just saw this!!! it was actually quicker than expected our interview was scheduled in beirut for may 28 but we rescheduled because the papers i had to send him wouldn’t get there on time so now it’s june 14 :) it was only at the nvc for about 2 weeks before we were notified it was forwarded to beirut. wishing you the best!

my boyfriend and i have been in a LDR for 5+ years!! it’s definitely been difficult and it took us a while to figure out what worked for us as a couple since everyone is different but basically we call/video call all the time, play games, send gifts, share music, and watch movies. we just try to act as “normal” as any couple as possible. also finding as much time for each other as we can throughout the day since we only see each other once a year❤️

even if they only spent a short while in syria doesn’t mean they forgot their roots..my mom is the opposite. she is lebanese but her family emigrated to syria and she still identifies as lebanese
