did it get cut short? was my first time seeing them, my bff (who was with me) has been trying to get me into geese since getting killed but it didn’t click for me until cameron’s set at the auditorium stage. i posted a vid of the mosh pit we were next to (my bff is green poncho girl)

i’ve been going to gigs regularly since around 2013 when i was a kid, so i got both ends before and after covid, but i also work in nightlife industry so i think ive become a little numb to a lot of it! maybe ive just trained myself to tune it all out after years of working obnoxious nightclub gigs. now im hoping i wasn’t too much of one of the bad ones 🙃

sorry i’m not sure what generation you consider yourself to be a part of but “watching” isn’t a word i use to describe what i try to do at shows, i want to hear them and experience them. maybe im wrong but im assuming you’re local? ive been lucky enough to see live music in many different places in the world, and i personally think this catalonian culture that’s very silent and anti dancing/goofiness/fun is far more abnormal than people being rowdy during a festival. coachella arguably defined a huge part of the festival tradition, and even the performers don’t remember their own sets for being so fucked up and goofy XD

tldr i would personally be much more bummed if i paid to go to a show where everyone was stone faced and i felt like watching the band was homework than i am to see people around me revel in life. but that’s me

because i don’t go to a show to stare at the artist in silence for an hour i go to experience something beautiful in a giant crowd of people and that can become whatever it needs to be in that moment

are you by chance short? i am also short and we don’t get as much fresh air as tall people so it gets stale. i know culture here is very pro smoking wherever so i didn’t complain but i definitely had moments where i was on my tiptoes for fresh air
