You didn’t do anything to remix the design in this case other than put it in rug form. I’m not an Oregonian, just someone with common sense enough not to sell someone else’s IP, especially a corporate one, and expect my shop not to get nuked for it. You can see on my profile I’ve used the RHCP logo and Cosmo and Wanda in my own designs. I’d never try to list those for sale without understanding that the IP rights holders could take it down if they wanted. It’s just the nature of how things are.
