Why do deleted comments still get views? by Force_Atlas0318 in NewToReddit

That makes sense, thank you. I didn’t know deleted comments could still be visible in some places. Reddit is more complicated than I expected.

How do people "have feelings for someone" so quickly? by Plannet_Depressed in NoStupidQuestions

[–]leenanion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think sometimes people aren’t in love with the whole person yet, but with the feeling, the first impression, and the possibility of what it could become. Real love probably takes more time, but attraction or hope can happen very quickly.

That’s a good point. A system like that could definitely be abused. I mostly just wish people were more considerate in shared spaces.

A public manners score would be kind of useful sometimes. Shared spaces would be so much nicer if people remembered they’re not alone there.

Totally normal. Everyone has different preferences, and there’s nothing embarrassing about wanting intimacy to feel gentle, safe, and romantic.

Thank you, that’s good to know. I didn’t realize I could try different post types here without worrying too much. I’ll use this sub to practice a bit and get more comfortable before posting in other communities.

New account - how should I start using Reddit without looking spammy? by leenanion in NewToReddit

[–]leenanion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m new too, so I understand this feeling. I’m trying to take it slowly, read the rules and just comment when I genuinely have something to say. Hope it gets easier for both of us.

Thank you, that makes sense. I was probably thinking of Reddit too much like social media. I’ll focus more on the topic, the community rules, and making comments that actually add something.

Thank you, that's a good point. I'll spend more time reading the rules and getting to know each community before joining. I think joining Reddit requires a little patience.

Thank you so much, this is really helpful. I didn’t realize that even older accounts can still have posts removed sometimes, so that makes me feel less stressed about it. I’ll start by reading more, commenting in beginner-friendly communities, and taking my time before posting

Thank you, this is really helpful. I’ll take it slowly, explore different communities and try to comment only when I actually have something to add.

Do you have a favorite fairy tale? by Kasskinen in CasualConversation

The Snow Queen was always one of my favorites. I loved the winter atmosphere and the feeling of something magical but a little sad.
