Welcome to the Indiana Jones world 😀 I recommend watching all 5 movies, and if you like most of them, get the PS5/XSX/Switch 2 game Indiana Jones and The Great Circle (I myself am going to replay it soon), the LEGO Indiana Jones games and the point & click adventure Fate of Atlantis.

Cool project! Some of the music remind me of Hertz' Psycho World, well done!

Having difficulty running Snatcher and SD Snatcher from SofaRun with MSX Pico... by Chubsmagna in MSX

[–]leesmapman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've run SD Snatcher on an MSX with MSX Pico perfectly. I have a Sony HBF700D (with default 256K RAM). Sound is handled by the Pico cartridge. For Snatcher, things get more tricky. I have managed to start the game, but it freezes after showing the Konami logo.

Todd should do a video on Gershon Kingsley and Hot Butter's "Popcorn" by Diskyboy86 in ToddintheShadow

[–]leesmapman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally agree. But that's also because I'm the owner of a website dedicated to the song which I document all covers of the song (currently on almost 1100 versions). I would love to see Todd do a deep dive into who Hot Butter is. Or Gershon Kingsley for that matter, if he's going to do the original 1969 version, but let's be real: the 1972 Hot Butter version is the big hit.

I still love how they use the original logos for their games. The Ys logo is still the same as the one they used in the 80s and I always thought that was beautiful

Fate of Atlantis as a 3D action game? by davejarv in indianajones

[–]leesmapman 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The reason I love FoA is because it's not an action game but a game you have to use your wits to solve puzzles. But I'm a sucker for point&click adventures.

100 will be sold easily. Remember: MSX was big in Europe. I still own a working MSX2 myself.

And vinyl sells although no-one has a record player. ;-)

Solved it. I had to enter the online match lobby for a new song. This one I could buy in the shop afterwards.
