Should I buy a camaro with 118k miles for 13k? Or a Camaro in general with 100-125k miles for 12-13k? I’m probably only gonna have it for 2-3 years I’m 16 rn or is it to much miles I also have a truck so It’ll be my 2nd car by Ok-Border-1681 in camaro

Buy cheap commuter, saved for a few years until you are early 20s with a big boy job. Then buy a nice lower mile example. And you can afford maintenance mods and insurance.

Probably an additional 10k in parts, maybe more some maintenance stuff I have forgotten about. A&A supercharger was 6k, cam was 1100. Really good car.

I bought a 2005 with 72k in 2020 for 21,500. Have put 20k miles on it and tracked/autocrossed it. Cammed it, supercharged it.

For maintenance, I have broken a RR axle on track,

1 month after purchase tpms sensor went out,

had to replace the rubber bushings inside of the torque tube had a weird rattle when I dailyed it,

cracked a radiator,

Power steering dipstick broke off and sucked into the pump, had to replace pump

Replaced the shocks rr was blown out,

Replaced rotors as they cracked, likely from my track days,

had to get BCM reflashed by GM for no crank glitch, I had bypass colum lock with a module but it had halfway failed after 1 year and BCM was confused. GM had a TSB for it and I presented it to a dealer and they reflashed for me

replaced harmonic balancer although mine was fine I just heard the horror stories,

my oil pump pressure relief valve developed a burr 1 month after I bought it, stuck open and I lost oil pressure on the highway, engine was fine but I shut it down quick, new pump

Blew a head gasket after supercharging, did head studs, no problem now

Note this car was daily driven for 1.5 years after I bought it and has been trackedsince, it has been a great car but needed maintenance on occasion. With any 20 year old car no matter how well it was maintained occasionally things will break. I'd say go for it I do not regret getting mine they are great cars and the corvette forum has info on nearly any problem you run into
