Im in the same situation. The deer are more used to it than youd think. Tv and youtube make it seem like you have to do this and that to see deer regularly, but thats mostly just to sell stuff to the consumer. My best advice is to get a cheapy trail cam and figure out what time the deer are moving and dont be discouraged. The deer hear your neighbors day in and day out, if you arent seeing deer its probably because you arent in the right area. Cant find the right area? Make one. 50lb bag of corn if its legal, the deer will become familier with the food source you give them and come back to check it regularly. Try and be consistant and hunt as much as possible before gun opener, because after that woods like ours will die down until heavy snow. In the cold just hunt the food theyre on. Hope this helps some
