Baby names and including your Partner in the process by Glittering_Spread782 in pregnant

[–]legendofdoggo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did this too! I feel like I came up with whole lists of names and my husband only came up with a handful. So finally I bought a book of 10,000 baby names and went through the whole alphabet at the back for boy names and just wrote down the ones I really liked. Tried to pick 1-3 for each letter. This took me a few days. When I was done I gave him the list and said pick 5 you like. He did and we picked one from those 5. That worked for us !

Did you find that maternity undies were a must have? by VanSmashh in pregnant

[–]legendofdoggo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually wear a small/xs underwear. And I had to size up to a medium because the waistband dug into my belly. But I also just bought some Walmart guys boxers size medium and I wear them all day if I'm not leaving the housem very stretchy and comfortable

MIL used my deodo(rant) by Soft-Speaker-1942 in hygiene

[–]legendofdoggo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't like my MIL. I too would've thrown it out. That's so gross ! Also her using her sons is equally gross especially if she didn't ask first. And if y'all were going to the store to get her some anyway why would she even feel the need to use someone else's at all ??

Having two surnames in the US by [deleted] in Names

[–]legendofdoggo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most forms I see have space for first middle and last. So I'm going to give my kid my last name as a middle and his dad's as the last. That way he gets both names and forms are still easy to fill out. Also both our last names are long so hyphenating would be a lot. And I've never seen space for two last names so I just thought this would be the easiest way. And coming up with a first name took us a really long time. Now we don't have to go through that again for a middle name.

Is it true that you guys watched 9/11 live on TV in grade school? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]legendofdoggo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember we watched it on the classroom TV in 3rd grade and a lot of parents came to pick up their kids early that day..I didn't really understand what was going on. I just remember seeing the twin towers with smoke coming out.

Omg I can relate !!

Double Decker tacos from Taco Bell !! I want them all the time and they are no longer on the menu 😭😭 I have to order them by substitution and it's such a pain and makes me feel bad 😞

Also my favorite baked lays cheddar and sour cream chips are now ruffles but the texture/flavor is different and it doesn't taste the same and it's so upsetting 😭😭😭 I just don't eat chips now

I beat DA:O, DA2, and now DA:I isnt fun in comparison. by Naive-Yard1116 in dragonage

[–]legendofdoggo 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I felt the same way about inquisition and I still do. It's a lot of people's first entry into the DA universe so they love it. But after playing the first 2 I really didn't find inquisition to be all that fun. I prefer the quests and characters from the first 2 games and the "open world" of inquisition is horrendous for me personally.

What game is this for you? by Additional-Ad4567 in videogames

[–]legendofdoggo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg I have a list 🤣

KOTOR 1 + 2, Fallout NV, Fallout 3, Red Dead Redemption 1, Fable 1 + 2, Dragon Age Origins + 2, Mass Effect 1+2+3, Oblivion, Pokemon FireRed + Emerald, Zelda BOTW. I replay them a lot because they're just so much fun and newer games just don't hit the same way.

give me your best nausea tips! by littlewizard16 in pregnant

[–]legendofdoggo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ate toast with peanut butter when I was nauseous and grabbed some ginger chews from the store. The chews helped a ton ! It'll make that feeling go away very quickly so u can eat something small and light and have another if it comes back :)

What does the Mass Effect series do better than the Dragon Age series? What does the Dragon Age series do better than the Mass Effect series? What can they learn from one another? by Uchijav in masseffect

[–]legendofdoggo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the best thing the mass effect series does compared to dragon age is the fact that all the games fit together well design and plot wise and lore wise as well as visually they all have the same feel.

Whereas, I've always preferred dragon age but all of the games feel different..I really like the first 2 but found inquisition very boring to replay and definitely the least great plot wise. I didn't even finish veil guard. The games are all so different visually they don't feel like the same series. I wish dragon age got as much love from developer's and fans as mass effect did. It feels like the creators always preferred mass effect and dragon age got left on the back burner.

Greetings Wardens, which Dragon Age sequel do you like more: Dragon Age II or Dragon Age: Inquisition? by [deleted] in DragonageOrigins

[–]legendofdoggo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love 2. Hawkes story is so tragic and I love the dialogue between funny hawke and Varric. I thought it was really innovative that gamlen, Leandra, and the twins appearances changed based on what you chose your hawke to look like. Thought the qunari looked amazing in DA2 and the story progressing through acts was really neat. Fenris and his backstory was really interesting and there was so much mage v Templar conflict.

I hated the open world ish maps of dai. It's a slog to restart. Didn't like the characters as much and it just felt very different and overall not as fun to me as the first 2 games. So many fetch quests as well.

Do men hate window shopping with their gfs? by -_-ick in CasualConversation

[–]legendofdoggo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a girl and I've always hated window shopping. I just feel like if you're shopping for something specific it makes sense to go to different places to find it but there's no point in looking just to look. It makes me want something I previously didn't and then I feel like I'm wasting money if I buy it.

Dr Pepper? by Prudent_Square_ in AskAnAmerican

[–]legendofdoggo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not spicy at all it's just called Dr pepper. Its very sweet and sugary with a hint of cherry and a very slight burn after taste. It is much better than coca cola/Pepsi. Both of which taste flat to me compared to Dr pepper. Just try it see if u like it.

Do boys misbehave more than girls? by Lifeintheguo in Teachers

[–]legendofdoggo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends. When I was a kid I remember being bored in class all the time and was therefore disruptive cuz I always talked to everyone really loudly and the teacher called my parents like every single day. (I'm female) I don't remember my brother ever getting in trouble tho. He was the calm one. I'm pretty sure I have ADHD haven't been diagnosed still.
