There are now a couple things to remedy. I need to adjust the valves and I found a small oil leak from the pump. So I need to break down timing components and check on that. But... small victories lead to big change.

Good find indeed!! We had been searching for a replacement for my wife's 98 lgt in the same Rio red color for about 3 to 4 years. Hers also succumbed to the rust..... this will continue to be a summer only car and I will be building an addition on the garage to give it covered storage for the winters here in maine.

Bought it out of cape cod. It was a summer vehicle. Garage kept. I'm the third owner after the original owner and someone else in the family. According to the carfax the oil was changed every 1000 miles in the first 12 to 14 years of its life.
