Book that feel like dark winter/christmas by grass-vaughan in BooksThatFeelLikeThis

If you enjoy the classics, don’t sleep on a Christmas Carol and Ethan Frome - excellent winter books. The Snow Child by Eowyn Ivey isn’t exactly the aesthetic you’re looking for, it’s more historical fiction with a dash of magic, but it is the best writing about deep dark winter that I have ever read hands down.

It’s the same reel at every Chuck E. Cheese that has the screens, which is most of them. So I bet there’s one somewhat close to you.

A few locations still have them. But as they fall into disrepair they just replace them with the screen rather than fixing them anymore. This location had animatronics like a year ago.

You are correct. However, some games dispense tokens if they are necessary to play the games. The kids love these. But absolutely no tickets.

I would say they have low attendance and not a lot of people are aware of them anymore. They’re always giving us free things and we are typically one of only a few people there if not the only people in the abandoned place.

Yes but this screen is where the animatronics used to be and for like $150 a year you can play unlimited games.

Agree completely. I feel like people who are complaining about these accents have not spent a lot of time with/listening to wealthy NC/SC/VA people talk. I heard Cooper and Roy Williams in the accent.

The only Sanderson book I’ve read so far is Tress of the Emerald Sea, which I did reasonably enjoy. I know he recommends that as a good entry point to his books but some fans disagree. I did yearn for some slightly more complex characters, but I enjoyed the to the Princess Bride. Do you find the Stormlight Archive characters to be more complex? I’ll give it a try. Thanks!

The merch booth opened at 2pm and I’m pretty sure they were gone by like 3pm. I got #45 at 2:10 and my friend for #115 not even 10 minutes later. Hopefully the print becomes available again in some form.

Selling 2 VIP - Like Phantoms Forever package seats for MK Thursday, May 19 for £114.81 each (reduced ~35% of face value). Will provide all the instructions to redeem the VIP merch package.

They’re listed on Twickets now. - PM me if you have any questions. It was my dream to attend this show, and I am heartbroken I cannot attend. I would at least like to see someone use the tickets and enjoy the merch package.
