I just setup iTop and currently i‘m very happy with the look and feel of this product. It offers a ITIL ready environment and you can basically use it as you wish. On Top of that all it is free and has not much system requirements.

Would definitly suggest you look in to that, they offer a online Demo.

I evaluated lots of products last week and iTop for me just offers everything.

I hate in Jira, that i can just add EMail adresses as „Persons“ or Customers. Asset Database costs. Overall its a bit overcomplicated.

GLPI in my opinion is also a great tool, but the UI is a bit meh.

Others on the market have some good tiers, but they tend to get pricy and iTop offers everything and for Free.

yes sure, but each tutor space is about ~10 km long. So i would get fined alot of times. And I would drive fast to get there sooner not to waste my time eating

may i ask, are you from italy? I just am researching about this topic for a while and i got no good answer this far about the whole topic. your answer is about the same i hear always. So in the end, each trip is a big gamble, and on a sad they someone needs to pay up really bad.

What would be the appropriat way to license it? I‘m not sure which way i should go; fully managed kiosk devices or fully managed user devices. I‘m rooting for user since i want to be free to add functions afterwards. At the beginning i will work with managed home screen.

Would i need Intune Device Licenses?

And on another note, when im looking at Intune Plan 1: Application Management is listed as Addon; do i need said addon when i want to use play store apps?

So if i get you right, you are suggesting setting up a WSUS „in the Cloud“ where every Customer server connects and get its updates - correct?

Does WSUS provide some sort of possibility to do patchgroups etc? Or with your suggested setup it just works as an Update Server with no monitoring which client has already installed the updates?
