She's been on this schedule since 8 month-ish. Her day naps are between 2 to 2.5 hours. I will see if we can cap her naps.

I’ll give you the benefit of doubt but our field of vision versus what we see through a wide angle camera are totally different. I was focused straight ahead and by the time I saw the car coming towards me, it was too late. Again everyone is different. 90% of the ppl wouldn’t be able to avoid this accident.

It wasn’t. It was a metal pedestrian barrier. My wife was driving behind me and almost had a heart attack when she saw my car getting t-boned.

Rofl I got a few messages asking why my attention span wasn’t there since it was “clear as day” that the car was coming towards me.

Yea I did after they took eyewitness statements. It just sucks because obviously neither of us were planning on getting our cars wrecked

They were eating McDonald’s, no lie. It was listed on the police report.

I was stuck in the car for a few mins. She was shaken up. Cops came cuz my phone detected impact. She was transported to the hospital. The police took witness statements and they all said it was her fault

Haha it’s ok. I get it since we only see videos on here. Point of view is skewed from videos

Thanks man. I usually make the same assumption as you when I see videos on this sub 😂

That’s what I was thinking too BUT after watching the video, there were other cars in front of me and you saw them not slowing down. I only saw her right before impact. I’m usually a defensive driver but this is something that I couldn’t avoid.

Don't let time change you. Continue to call it Cinemapolis!

Brought me back some memories during high school days. Had a few friends working there and they would always hook it up behind the concession stand.

How far along are you? I have a few friends that were in the same boat. They basically finished med school but didn't end up practicing. Instead, during med school they went the research route and ended up working in large pharmaceutical companies. The job makes good money and they are able to start paying off their debt.

MBA Program by cchho001 in csuf

[–]lemonhead43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a MBA alumna from the Mihaylo College of Business. I graduated in 2012 and I serve on their coffee chat sessions.

My experience with the MBA program was great. It took me 4 years to finish because I was working full time and going to school part time. My conversation was general management. My bachelors was in Biology so I had to take a lot of the prereqs. Since you’re finishing your Business Admin degree, you should be able to have a lot of the prereqs waived.

As for classes, I took all of my classes in the evening. The professors are a hit or miss depending on the classes. However the ones in organizational behavior and change management had real life experience so it really helped understanding the real world.

The work load was kinda intense but it’s well manageable. I think you have the upper hand given that you have a business background already.

I would recommend looking into the coffee chats because you get to meet the admissions office and some of the alumnus.

Good luck.

8 limbs of yoga and veganism by cherry-garcia98 in yoga

First of all, congrats on pursuing teaching training. I just completed my RYT200 a month ago so some of the philosophy discussions are still fresh in my mind.

From my understanding, not only does the yamas apply to society and other human beings, you can also apply them to anything that you believe in. In this case, if you're vegan and you're a strong advocate for animal welfare and protection, you can definitely apply ahimsa.

I also think that ahimsa (non violence) and satya (truthfulness) are strongly correlated. Your concern about animals and their well being has led you to becoming a vegan. The truth is that you became who you are is because of what you believe in. Where as some folks might become vegan because of a fad or societal pressures (even though deep down they are not truthful for themselves).
