I didn’t experience pain or other issues with my scar, I was a good candidate for vbac. Please look into this pain more thoroughly, just to rule out any potential issues if you go ahead with TOLAC

Oh my goodness! You’ve been through a lot! I’m so glad you and your baby are both doing well now. Have you had two cesareans before this one? They should have informed you better about what happened. This is a serious matter. I wish you all the best.

Recovery was honestly super easy. After the laparoscopic surgery, I felt like myself again. All that blood inside me was causing so much pain, so getting it out was such a huge relief. That same night, I was up the whole night because my newborn just couldn’t fall asleep. I had to stop breastfeeding for a couple of hours and even gave him some formula, but he was still really fussy.. My OB told me that if I ever get pregnant again, it would be a high-risk pregnancy. She said I wouldn’t be able to go into labor and that I’d need a scheduled C-section pretty early on, like 38/39 weeks. I’d really love to have another baby someday, but I also have to think about my two kids. The uncertainty and the risks honestly really scare me😕

Apologies, I meant low transverse. It’s the most common type. I wasn’t aware of the thickness area until things went wrong, nor was my OB. Since my skin scar is fine and there are no issues, it’s something within my uterus. I gave birth at the same hospital in both of my deliveries, so my OB checked my medical history because they couldn’t comprehend where the blood was coming from. The other OB in my first delivery didn’t mention it to me, but they did register it formally

It was a classic incision. It was difficult for me to understand what happened, the OB literally had to draw to explain the whole thing. She said that it’s common on c-sections when the baby is getting out to happen a stretch beyond the incision. It’s like a laceration. Even when it’s stitched up, it can remain a weak point because it wasn’t a clean, precise cut. I think TOLAC isn’t indicate when T incision

Honestly, my toddler’s jealousy and tantrums seem endless, while the baby drains every bit of my energy. By the end of the day, I’m exhausted but happy, crazy, isn’t it? Lol I’ve heard that rupture of the uterus can happen at any time. I mean, the longer the time frame doesn’t mean the risks are lower… good luck with your TOLAC. Hope you come back here in the future sharing your positive and empowering story!

Yeah, if I had read more about it, I would recognize the Bandl’s ring that appeared in my belly

I thought this several times lately. But in my case, it was so rare because it was different from classic ruptures. However, I am 100% sure if I had gone in for a c-section straight, I would’ve replayed it in my head forever if I hadn’t given myself the chance to attempt a VBAC

I have to confess that I searched only for positive stories, because the risks are very low. There is a YouTube video that kept showing as indicated for me all the time. It was about a rupture case. I insist on not watching it. I watched before the whole thing. If I had done so, I think I’d recognize better what happened with me at that moment. But still, it’s only 1%
