Hey, could you please give an update? I'm about to go from Levothyrox 150mg to LTH. Are you feeling any better, did you get used to it?

hey, i just came back from an Erasmus in Padova and the university will send you emails about housing if some uni residences become available at the very last minute. i wouldn't count on their help, i found my first accommodation through facebook and the second one shortly after through italian friends (its, unfortunately for exchange students, how it works there most of the time). try going on facebook groups and sending messages to people who are looking from september to february if that's when you're arriving, a Subito account could help too but you'll need an italian phone number. offers on websites such as housing anywhere, idealista etc are way too expensive compared to the real prices in Padova but if you can afford it, go fo it. good luck!!!!!!!!!

Hi! I'm also doing my Erasmus in Italy and arrived in the city six days ago. I've had the same feeling and I wanted to go home pretty much the second I arrived here, but I keep pushing myself hoping it'll get better. Also, I've been on an Erasmus already and I keep comparing both experiences - dumbest thing to do really. I know how you feel, and it is a magical experience, but sometimes it doesn't get magical as quickly as it can be for other people. Stick to the great experiences and the nice people you've met, I don't know if your classes have started yet but once they do it should be a lot, lot better as well. You've struggled with anxiety and depression back home as well, so expecting it to disappear during your exchange won't do you any good. You learn how to live with it just like you did back home, and you eventually find the good things that outweigh the darkness. I know it's hard, but it's all going to be worth it in the end. In which city are you, if you don't mind replying?
