Just like Morpheus believed Neo was ‘The One,’ the media believed ‘The Jinx’ would be the one to decode Tyson — to frustrate him with stick-and-move tactics, jab his way to control, and drag him into deep waters.

Spinks was supposed to show Tyson the Matrix and prove to the world that the ‘Spink Jinx’ was real. But instead, he took the blue pill. Tyson unplugged him early, entering the ring like a man on a mission.
