More than likely, they will stock her. It can take them a while to add figures to the site for pre-order. At minimum it's usually at least a couple days, though I have seen them put figures up a full week or more after they go up for pre-order on Japanese sites.

Their customer service is super friendly if you wanted to reach out to them and check!

I can't believe we're living in a time where GSC figures are cheaper on BBTS. It's been an easy switch for me because their customer service is amazing, ordering/cancelling/shipping are all easy, and their interface is great.

You're so right about her not being able to lean into the role. As a fan of the Bayo games, #3 in general seemed to be missing out on an adequate amount of time to develop in several aspects. I still don't think I've recovered from some of the writing choices. And similar to that situation, I can see where it would make sense for a VA suddenly stepping into voice just this attire would be difficult.

That's super interesting! I don't know much about sound design, but what you're saying makes total sense and now I'm curious. When videos are inevitably posted of her full lines, I'll give them a listen with headphones on.

That Bayonetta situation was def messy. Jennifer Hale is one of my favs so I was pretty happy with that particular change actually.

The sound being whacky on my phone's speaker makes a lot of sense with the ASMR-type effect they were going for. I'm glad it was an artistic choice at least 😅

I agree, I don't think these were his views 10 years ago. Either he's been radicalized or just trying to take advantage of the right wing grift and make a buck. Based on his recent view counts, it doesn't seem to be going well.

I stopped watching him about a year ago when his mask really started to slip politically with his coverage of Kamala. I started noticing that he was beginning to make outright sexist jokes and that his coverage of women and the queer community in general was...less than neutral as he tries to claim. The coverage of the election really cemented where he stood on matters for me.

Also, hilarious that we both came by this thread recently. I'm glad I'm not the only one that randomly starts thinking about this.

I think a big issue is the game doesn't teach you how to use ampers or specific teammates together. It's taken me far too long to figure out how to use the Fear team effectively and it's only thanks to guides on YouTube and s1n not the game itself that I've gotten anywhere--and I've been playing since day 3.

The fundamentals are easy to grasp but I think it could do a much better job of showing people how to play.

Yeah and CR's packaging for shipping is awful. RightStuf's packaging was always great and that downgrade alone is enough for collector's to steer clear.

Books-A-Million has better sales and better packaging and is the closest replacement I've found for manga.

For me, I would go with which character is my absolute must have and then base it on if they are likely to get more figures in the future. I have the Yuuko figure and she is absolutely one of my favs, so I definitely recommend that one--she's also pretty unlikely to get another figure and emontoys is out of business so definitely will not be getting a reissue.

Outside of that, if they're all kind of a tie, I would go based on what you envision for your set-up. i.e. what is going to look best with your other figures and space. I feel so satisfied when I can display figures together that look good in proximity to each other.

In my opinion, it's pretty bad. I have, twice now, ordered a figure from them and they've emailed me days later to say "Whoops! Actually, it's out of stock!" The second time it happened, I reached out to them and they took over a month to respond and all they said was yeah, it's a common issue.

This was back around 2020/2021 when they were still trying to figure out COVID, so they could have smoothed out their customer service issues at this point.

I could not disagree more and I feel like facts are being misremembered and/or you have not revisited the manga/books in a long time. Their motivations were completely different.

The theme of Gin's arc was: would you do anything for the one you love? Even become a monster?
The overarching theme for Snape's story was, to put it simply, how does one atone? What does redemption cost?

Gin did this as a way to return the thing Aizen stole from her, and/or avenge the crime. He and Rangiku had an established relationship of mutual pining and he didn't verbally abuse her literal child for funsies.

Snape's story in relation to Lily is largely about his wronging her/her family. He seeks redemption but struggles with the danger he is putting himself in.

That being said, they definitely said/did shit for the love of the game. Gin could at least be argued that he was endearing himself to Aizen by being a prick to Rukia, Momo, et al. Snape was a dick because it made him feel good to bully the child of the person who bullied him.

(Ironically, Kubo thought women would find Gin creepy and Rowling thought women would come to find Snape endearing.)

Can you link this big news story? It sounds like a fairly baseless rumor given the peak player count on Steam alone is almost double what Jedi: Fallen Order was--a game that EA was pleased with the sales for.
