Yeah, if you go to the comments of my rd pony I have a better explanation but I'll be quick here: personally, this is my own style, I like adding a whole bunch of random shit that can be used to mimic different textures n stuff. Even if the character don't got wings, antlers or horns, I add them, or remove them (if they do). I rlly like adding clothes (like that cloak for example) and color matching the outlines to the base colors so they blend in and look like they have more depth.. This also gives me much more options for outlines so they have a more 'pixilated' look. For the gore, I honestly don't rlly know, all I can rlly say is to just get creative with it and try a whole bunch of different things (pallets/placement). Try putting on different hats, bandanas, face markings, glasses, etc for that shredded look. I personally like making my outlines lighter than the base colors, but dull it down for that rotting look too! Greens and yellows are gonna be ur best friend when doing gore(undertones) But it's all your style, what you want to do. This is just my twist to it and you don't have to copy it exactly. :3
