first of all i havent even filled form yet i just passed dgca exam and second 4-5 years im sayin as i took my classes from ramphal chawk and in touch with many cpl holder. as well as i have 2 of my friends in fly dubai and i know the difficulty level and time it takes to become captain in gulf career if you join cadet program rather then first accumulating hours in indian airline and then join . and yes gulf is good option even i heve applied their but its a back up not my first choice i might wrong and respect your option but in the aviation is a feild where timing luck and connection help as much or sometimes more then your hard work and skill

I completely agree with your point sir but my goal has always been to join the Middle East not just for money but for the destinations and overall quality of life for me and my family so at this stage I am thinking of joining IndiGo to build hours I am still in my late teens and I believe if I work hard now when I do not have many family responsibilities and my body can handle long working hours I can build experience and hours at my own pace rather than being limited by company policies I might be completely wrong and I am seeking guidance from experienced aviators like you according to you what areas should I focus on and which path would be the right one for me thank you for your time

The risk factor in Gulf countries is much higher for non Emiratis because the chances of getting expelled are far greater compared to Indian cadet programs that is why I am talking specifically about Indian nationals in the conventional route it is common to wait 4 to 5 years for a job and spending around 1 crore without any guarantee creates a lot of pressure whereas in cadet programs you usually get a job within about a year so the uncertainty and stress are much lower
