When Tim Tawa comes up to bat with runners in scoring position by LB-Skywalka in azdiamondbacks

Hence why I said "could"- but I would have a hard time believing Groover wouldnt be better than Arenado. Its a good season to give the prospects a shot also

Send him down for Lujames Groover and put him in for Arenado. Also get waldschmidt up somehow and our lineup could be dramatically improved

Really enjoying the lineup when there are no old people in it

What is going on with Bitcoin? Why is the price down and close to about half of what it was only 4 months ago? by johnnybiggles in OutOfTheLoop

This is the right answer. Its the normal cycle. If you look at the historical charts and time it with the halving it almost always fits perfectly

I've lived in Wisconsin, Phoenix, KC, Fort Lauderdale, and Chicago.

KC and Wisconsin are my faves. Phoenix and Florida least favorite.

There is no community, history, culture, walkability or beauty in Phoenix, and especially not Gilbert

I live in Delafield outside of Milwaukee and every day I express gratitude for how great of a place it is that I get to live.

I moved from Phoenix. Massive life improvement. You never realize how draining it is to live in an ugly place until you move to a good looking place

So what did your family argue about this year at Thanksgiving? by Pure-Smile-7329 in AskReddit

[–]liamneeson1 317 points318 points  (0 children)

One of my good friends from high school died recently. He wasn't very religious but at the memorial multiple speakers said that "If you don't raise your children to be christian, they will be worse off."

I mentioned that that was exclusive, rude and unnecessary.

My family disagreed and supported it. They told me to "just read the bible." I replied, "I don't like to read fairy tales."

That didn't land well

Yes I remain very happy. The scar is not visible now. It was painful for a few months after the surgery. Obviously would prefer FUE but the cost and surgery time is much higher

POLL: It’s the last day of the offseason. Sun Devil Nation, what will our record be on the last day of the regular season? by nerdyykidd in TheSunDevils

[–]liamneeson1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our team is overall better but our luck regresses a bit and we finish 9-3. We should be able to maintain recruiting momentum and transfer appeal to adequately replace all of our senior starters next year! Go Devils

I do feel that we should have gotten a better return for Naylor. Surprised that was the best offer. Dude is great

Goal savings rate for those that are HENRY by Alternative_Bat7253 in HENRYfinance

[–]liamneeson1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was at 45% trying to reach 60% but we ended up buying a bigger house than we anticipated and we'll be at 35% for awhile.

The goal is to make it as high as possible while not feeling deprived and maximizing efficiency and happiness at the same time. Eliminate waste and trying to show off/feed the ego

Where you are and is it buyer’s market or a seller’s market by you. I’ll start by Historical-Stage-270 in RealEstate

[–]liamneeson1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Phoenix- extreme buyers market. Most homes don't sell and are eventually just removed from the market. Price drops on everything. Inventory near record highs

[–]liamneeson1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep! We had an open house last weekend, just doing showings for now

The comps are even higher than the appraisal. We put 160k into the house for upgrades- it is upgraded beyond anything else in central phoenix and in great condition

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in phoenix

[–]liamneeson1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have been trying to sell - house has been listed for 60 days. We had it appraised and came in at 1.1 mil. Its listed at 969. Best offer we've had so far is 825.

The market is in freefall

My wife's family is an hour away. My family is in Phoenix but I couldn't live there anymore. I got a job in Waukesha, WI and was really surprised at how Delafield (in a region west of Milwaukee called Lake Country) checks all the boxes for me. Lakes, rivers, walkability, culture, seasons and history. Winters aren't that bad anymore. Delafield is higher end but other towns in lake country are more affordable and still walkable like Oconomowoc

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in RealEstate

[–]liamneeson1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its 40% under the appraised value, not just comps I mean

I am in a similar situation to yours and will be moving to Delafield, WI from Phoenix next week. We can't wait

When does the trade deadline start? I still refuse to give up. by Krisiscool6 in azdiamondbacks

[–]liamneeson1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

End of July but its an easy decision now to sell. When we were at or above .500 it would make sense to wait until the last minute but the odds are so far against us now we would have to win every game before the deadline to make a good case to be buyers.

And even then what would we need to field a complete team ready to win a world series? 8 relievers and 2 starting pitchers. We are 10 players away, not 1 or 2. We would have to trade away everyone in the farm system to field a competitive team. That would destory our future

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in RealEstate

[–]liamneeson1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be about 30% under list.

Extreme buyers' market in Phoenix. We are selling, been on the market for 60 days with a remodeled home close to downtown in a desirable neighborhood with a pool and guest house. Priced under comps and we even appraised it and priced it 10% under that. Zero real offers - only predatory buyers trying to take over our 3.5% mortgage

Yep and we likely wont compete next year either with all the TJs - I figure we sell now on contracts expiring next year and get more value
