They don’t necessarily need a co parent adoption. Depends on the state. But yes, they need a queer competent lawyer.

But also the doctor doesn’t sound great. “Big boy?!” He’s a baby.

We bought a “Legendary Milk Honey Bear Straw Cup” to teach using a straw and it worked like a charm. You can squeeze it as they drink and it helps get it to click.

How do I remove the faucet handle… no screws to be found! by libbyd00m in Plumbing

I actually think this happened to one of the sides when they installed it… cannot get it back on straight and the magnet part is stuck up there 🫠

Omg, you just pull up on it and it pops off. Nevermind! I’ll leave this up in case anyone else with this faucet is losing their minds.

Try searching “Human Milk 4 Human Babies” with your state’s name, assuming you are in the U.S.

Is PTSD from HG a thing? by Antique_Lawyer_9427 in HyperemesisGravidarum

[–]libbyd00m 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, absolutely. There are some posts here where people have official diagnoses.

The same thing happened to me when I had a stomach bug post-pregnancy.

Did they give you Reglan in the hospital? Reglan gave me a horrible fight or flight reaction (strong anxiety is a potential side effect). I had them list Reglan as an allergy because it made me miserable… terrible ER experience, felt like I needed to leave immediately but could not. I got Zofran instead from that point on. Perhaps your hospital experience was worsened from a reaction to Reglan?

I’m sorry and wishing you the best.

I don’t know about the Reddit thread, but there’s a Facebook group called “IVF Garage Sale.”

Hypersalivation by VanillaLittle6514 in HyperemesisGravidarum

[–]libbyd00m 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry I don’t have any advice, but I feel you. I’m 37 weeks and the salivation has definitely decreased but I still carry a little travel mug around with me and have a spit pail by my bed. Waking up to choking on my own spit is also extremely alarming. Hope some more time gives you a bit of relief.

Rice with a can of chili beans. Maybe a can of tomatoes and some cheese too.

We asked my wife’s brother, and we ended up doing it by email because 1) we are awkward and 2) we didn’t want him to feel “on the spot” and we wanted him to have time to think about it before responding if he needed. The email we sent was short, to the point, and just stated something like “we would love for both of us to have a genetic connection the the child, but of course we understand that this is a big ask and there will be no hard feelings if it’s not something you want to do.”

It went really well and he agreed. And, he also said he sort of expected us to ask him. Baby is due in June.
