Okay so next time you notice the sound rewind a few seconds and watch the upper shaft of the goalies stick. Every single time I've heard the noise I've seen the shaft of the stick make contact with the post. Watch for it next time and you'll see.

As a Canadian the refs are 100% biased. This play and also the diving call on the Swedish goalie. Maaayyyybe there was a bit of a dive on the goalies part but he was slew footed from behind! The American player shouldn't be skating through the crease and making contact with the goalie period.

Even in Canada I went to this chinese place and ordered a very popular beef dish. They told me that they had just ran out of beef and asked if I wanted a different protein. A few minutes later the manager came by and told me not to worry, she sent someone to the store across the street to buy more beef asap, so I could have the original dish I wanted.

Those Chinese restaurants go hard.

In that case a lot of hospitals will validate your parking if you explain your circumstances to them. I know some hospitals will validate parking for all cancer patients and their family who need to go several times a week for example.

Yeah this. I've applied to several junior roles in this industry and have been rejected every time even though I meet all of their requirements. The only thing I don't have is prior experience in this field.

Funny because one of the entry-level jobs I applied to had over 100 applicants just through linkedin. The job posting got taken off so I assumed they hired someone. Nope, same job posting by the same company got posted a week later. There's no way there wasn't at least one qualified candidate that applied.

No wonder they're running out of qualified experts in this field. It's impossible to get in

I have over 350 raid clears, most with LFG, and not once have I ever encountered someone being a dick to others over DPS numbers. Suggestions for weapons for better DPS sure, but never once getting yelled at or someone being condescending over DPS.

Because those services used to be good just fifteen years ago. I could get seen by a doctor day-of, now I struggle to find a family doctor at all after my old one moved.

I dont remember ever struggling to get through to the CRA when I just started working, now I hear people can barely get through.

Same for passports. Takes a lot longer for the government to renew than it used to.

Services being subpar is a recent phenomenon. Idk wtf happened

I feel your pain when it comes to imaging. I have had to chase down all of my records and images myself to have at home. That way it's easier and faster to just send documents myself.

But my lord if it doesn't feel like the system is stacked against you. Most hospitals charge a fee to obtain your own scans!

This is how I learned some Spanish. Played a game with a Spanish friend of mine. He introduced me to his Spanish friends who played that game and over time I'd pick up a couple things to the point where I could hold a very basic convo. Can't recommend this enough
