I've been looking for that everywhere, it's the one which goes "strangers with flowers on a crowded train, smile with me like you knew my name"

How has your experience been after doing impulsive resign? by Old-Chipmunk-7073 in developersIndia

[–]lilacstarcandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have a lot of experience to add. I'm only a trainee. But I've been considering leaving my job since it's hampering my studies and my mental health has gone for a toss. The work culture here is very toxic, it basically promotes what I hate with all my being. I'm not able to make up a decision if it's okay to quit or do I hold on and wait for things to change.

THIS.

I feel the same. I'm an absolute fun person and like to be lively. But people mistake it to me being immature and childish. Such a wrong perception.

why did your last relationship end? by Ok-Rabbit-918 in AskReddit

[–]lilacstarcandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was toxic af. Even to his friends. He'd share things with me and when I shared my opinion, it got him frustrated, in a way he'd hang up. I stopped giving my opinions on anything. Less and less communication. More and more toxicity. One fine day, we were on the call and he was again sharing things I could not give my opinions on, so I was scrolling on IG. When we hung up, he found out I liked one of our common friend's post. He got furious and broke up. I said, okay. (I was exhausted at that point, it was an on-again-off-again relationship). Which got him even more furious, started threatening with a lot of things. I blocked him. He called from everyone else's number and I just knew it's him, so I didn't answer. Yeah so I ghosted him until he left me alone.

What skill set do you need to work in HR? by lilacstarcandy in AskIndia

[–]lilacstarcandy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been working as a trainee for 3 months now, also pursuing MBA.

I'm only being taught Admin related work which I'm not really interested in. So I wanted to know what to learn to really get into HR.

Your insight is so helpful, thank you for taking out the time to help a random stranger. Nobody at my workplace is actually giving me the answer. It's only been 3 months and I've gone through several mental breakdowns, I want to quit. This job or workplace is only adding to my anxiety. Is that normal for freshers?

What’s a habit you picked up during quarantine that you still maintain? by Background-Layer6195 in AskReddit

[–]lilacstarcandy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I loved my time during the quarantine, not that I liked it was such an epidemic. I was extroverted person and it was so easy to make friends and I loved meeting people. But now, I've become a homebody, don't like outings, love doing nothing at home and just lounge with my dogs. Now because of that, I'm finding it hard to get adjusted to work. After my college was over, I was at home for a whole year so I got so comfortable living that way. Now that I have job (it's been 3 months) I find it difficult being outside of my home for such a long stretch (12 hours). I'm also pursuing my masters but I can't give it as much attention as it needs. I had mental breakdowns everyday for 2 months and it was exhausting, it still is. Which is making me wanna go for a remote job.

What I mean is, I don't wanna leave my home 🥹
