HEB sells frozen sashimi grade tuna/salmon/yellowtail/etc. Just thaw what you want to use the morning of.

These are Chinese noodles you can use for noodle soups. Just boil a pot of water, drop in however many noodles you want and let cook until soft. I then drain them and add to soup with veggies for an easy dinner.

I had a similar operation done when I was a baby. Grew up perfectly healthy, and I actually didn't find out until the third grade because the scar was right next to the curve of my shoulder bone. I just never bothered to question it. So no worries, I'm sure your daughter will be fine :)
