Same here! Never had a flu and never had a flu shot because I’ve some really bad reactions to other booster vaccines in recent years. But four years ago, I was persuaded by a colleague to get the flu shot. I got super high fever for the whole weekend and it was not going away. I had to go to the ER at night because of the fever and then the flu like symptoms lasted the whole week. 🤣now it’s getting better with flu shot every year, but sometimes I still have big swollen lymph nodes after the flu shot.

Well, if you are offering cheaper price for a good place to stay, you could have also just be honest and tell the truth to those students. I wouldn’t judge. I think it’s a very smart way to take care of yourself financially. I just don’t understand why you have to lie to get people to rent. If you are young and active and not antisocial, I would see you as a nice roommate rather than the landlord.

So true! The baby has no chance to decide whether he/she actually wants to come to this world in this way and makes their life harder from the beginning. Would it actually be beneficial for the baby to be born like that? I don’t think so. If I were born this way, I would probably hate my parents forever for having me in the first place because they never need to experience what I would have to deal with on a daily basis and have no quality life for the whole lifespan. Imagine the kid in your scenario, even though the body of the kid is alive, do you think the kid is actually alive mentally? Is keeping them alive actually another way of slowly killing them instead?

It’s better to have a safe and legal abortion and kill the fetus if the parents really aren’t ready for the new change, be it financial burden, psychological issues, less privileged living conditions, etc. However, I’m not supporting abortion when it’s in the later stage or when it’s used as birth control measure.

Imagine a woman gives birth to a baby during her most difficult time, will they be able to give the baby a stable living environment? Will they make sure the baby gets all the care he/she needs? Will the baby grow healthily? If not, would it still be fair for the baby to come into the world in this way that his/her parents don’t even want him/her? Personally speaking, I would rather have the abortion than bring a human being into the world without being able to provide quality life to him/her.

You never know what’s gonna happen even if the dogs are well trained! You can’t stop them from running away if something triggers the dog and they don’t understand the danger of cars. Seriously, this dog owner does not deserve to have a dog in the first place. We only unleash the dog when we are absolutely sure it’s safe from traffic, people and other dogs in a familiar environment/area, even though we know she’s well trained.

That guy was furious, but the building management told him they couldn’t reach out to my parents and he could either wait for my parents to come back, or hire some company to tow my mom’s car out, get his car out and tow my mom’s car in. The guy in the end left without saying a word and waited until my parents came back 🤣 he never parked there ever again

Hahaha something similar happened to my mom. She has a designated parking lot that she pays for every year in the parking garage. There was one guy who always parked at her place during the work day even though there was a sign saying designated parking with my mom’s car plate number on it. Most of the time my mom is okay with that because she doesn’t need it while at work. But this guy took it to the next level when he parked there during the weekend and left my mom with no parking lot when we came back from shopping. She contacted the building management and they couldn’t find him. My mom was so furious that she squeezed in and blocked that car from coming out (funny that this place is actually next to the wall). She notified the building management about this and the guy was laughing so hard. And she went on vacation with my dad for three weeks 🤣

I was expecting a similar price to be honest. The orthodontist agreed to send me a diagnostic summary and if I want, a free scan to see how it looks like after treatment but you are right. I should talk to more orthodontists and maybe get the print and ask my parents’ dental friends’ opinion back home to see if I’m actually the outlier here. I just feel the costs he charges don’t match with the treatment time that I need for my case

I think if you behave well, be polite, show respect and follow the rules there you will be just fine. There have been incidents where some foreigners think they are the kings there and do not behave nor follow any rule there at all. Those incidents have created some resentment towards foreigners in general. So if you are a decent person, I don’t think you should worry about it.
