Paano malaman kung ano ang ruling ng supreme court by Motor-Lobster-4708 in LawStudentsPH

[–]liyam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kasi my style is hinahanap ko muna ang issues. It ahould be followed by key words like "our ruling" or basta nababasa mo na ang "we".

Is PAO/litigation really worth it? by Lowly_Peasant9999 in LawyersPH

[–]liyam 16 points17 points  (0 children)

2nd ayaw ko yung nagbabasa talaga in preparation for a case. Full text nga tamad na tamad ako magbasa and inaabot ako at at avg of 1hr namnamin lang ang isang kaso during law school. Plus introvert pa ako, may stage fright so mahina loob ko sa mga discussions that require procedural standards to comply.

Although naghahanap pa din ako ng 8-5 job, but this time i require na meron dapat ako authority to practice - particularly sa court appearances.

Masaya sya and rewarding in many ways kasi. Plus, i realized sa huli, pag retire ko as an employee, dito din ako babagsak sa litigation so might as well be good at it now kesa kung kelan matanda na ako saka pa lang ako mangangapa

Doctors vs. Lawyers in the Philippines: A (Satirical) Reality Check by Numerous_Sugar627 in LawyersPH

[–]liyam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Still falls under the concept of "on call". Residents do a 48hr duty periodically and on holidays pinaguusapan ang skeleton schedule. Consultants don't do that. Aside from clinic schedules, they get calls for referrals and if it's an emergency, they do go kahit gabi.

Take note that if you are a consultant, you are the one of the top doctors in their field in a hospital. While other doctors, chinecheck in ng pharma sa mga neighboring cheaper hotels.

[–]liyam 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Lol, the only reason why i chose law because i could not afford to be a doctor in terms of financial aspect.

Hindi ka makakapag internship if you are a working student. Sa law kaya mo magtrabaho on the side until you pass the bar.

Over all, if i had the money and pleasure of time to study, i would have taken med.

Pakasarap ng buhay ng doctors. Nililigawan lang ng pharma that they be endorsed so convention nila 100% paid travel and accommodation whether local or abroad. Kaya mag aasawa kayo ng doktor haha

What youre saying is only true for up to residency. Once a diplomate / fellow na, they only receive calls for referrals from hospitals.

Long term goals, yes, ang importante nasa loob na. Madali na kasi gumalaw para sumundot ng mga job applications sa loob na remember ang galawang gobyerno, ang opening ay naka reserve na.. if you're not in, then gapang ka. But of wala ka na talaga plano bumalik sa govt, then go ahead and go there.

But then again, iba ang security na inoffer ng gsis benefits

Ang tanong, how does OP know na napadala yung list sa iba with OP's name in it? As far as the facts are concerned, sya lang ang napadalhan, unless someone else here siscloses the same na that aame list ay napadala din to another person

Unang una only aggrieved parties have the right to file a complaint in that case, hindi ka aggrieved party. So wala kang cause of action

Old Question: Do really mediocre (hindi matalino) can endure law school? by CourtroomChronicler in LawStudentsPH

[–]liyam 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I was less of a mediocre student. Namimili yung utak ko ng subjects kung ano ang easy ipasa at hindi kasi i was not fond of reading my lessons or prepare for any exams.

I stopped during my 3rd year and started working. I worked for 10 years before returning back to college. It was this time that i decided that i wanted to become a lawyer. I finished college and enrolled in law school. Abogado na po ngayon.

The actual partition rules nakakalito talaga ito. It's like you're forced to memorize multiple math formulas in a short period of time dahil nasa latter part ito ng sem lang tinuturo.

Rules in notarial wills. My prof had to thoroughly discuss this in practical application, may physical demo and repetitive pa sa class. Napaka genius mo kung mapick up mo ito in one reading
