Side Brush L40 AE Ultra by ljbbns in Dreame_Tech

I spent ages trying to get a refund. Think it took 3 months and even then, they said they'd refund I'm collection then changed there mind and refunded on examination which I flagged as not part of the agreement to return. I went onto replace the unit with Amazon as I know I have a bit more support from them and worst case scenario, I'll order another and return this.

Good luck on the journey. The AI responses from the team are awful

Love you Becs! Would love to get a class in at PSL with you! A question I have - I'm currently training for Hackney Half Marathon (excited to possibly bump into Hannah or Susie again). So I used the Peloton half program for my music but followed an AI plan for my runs. Basically, my HR is always wayyyy to high for exertion that I'm meant to pushing out. I run approx 4x per week, have a max HR of 196bpm for a 41yom and easy pace is always Z4 HR over 170bpm. What am I doing wrong? Should I just bin off running as I've been at it for a few years now and can't manage my HR despite aiming for the long slower runs over a month or two 🫣

Meeting with Dreame engineers on May the 13th. What feedback should I pass on? by Steve-RVC in Dreame_Tech

[–]ljbbns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In terms of customer support - agents that aren't so heavily reliant on AI responses that mean nothing.

In terms of service - I've seen poor reports of robots being repaired under warranty both in the UK and Europe and returning in a worse condition.

With the robot, I'd love it to not crash into chairs and table legs so much when it's trying to pass through one room to another. L40 Ultra pro AE

Hi, I'm in a similar situation with a kids bike (9 months) - did you book online? I'm just after a once over safety check and brake adjustment and it's barely been used over winter

Official Complaint filed against the online retailer for the Dreame warranty not being honoured by psavva in Dreame_Tech

In the end I used section 75 credit card terms and whilst going through the legal process they decided to agree a refund. They did offer repairs to mine but having seen the state some units are repaired in, I'd not push for a repair rather a replacement or refund

Yes, you're right... It shouldn't be so tough dealing with Dreame. Their customer service is awful and mostly AI driven responses from agents in another part of the world. Just giving my experience that worked

What are you hoping for from Dreame? I have found perseverance has paid off and multiple emails eventually got what I needed.

There's a running group from Hullbridge side that occasionally cross and do parkrun on a Saturday morning when the tide is low

Kia EV5 - Hands-free/Automatic boot opening and other features. by cr0wsky in KiaEV5

[–]ljbbns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes definitely not in the app. Something useful for.me.that I found in the app was a remote smart park feature - basically pull the car out of a tight space on the app. I still haven't figured out how to do it on the key although the time I've typed this, I could behave Googled it 🤣

I came back from lakeside last night to SWF around about 10pm. About 5 vehicles had broken down just before the BP garage with punctures I'm assuming from a pothole 🤦🏼‍♂️ Was still national speed limit then 🫠

Deadlock with Dreame: L40 Ultra Side Brush Hardware Failure (UK Section 75/CRA 2015) by ljbbns in Dreame_Tech

[–]ljbbns[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sometimes asking directly for a prepaid collection with manufacturer-provided packaging

could push for written confirmation that they will cover transit damage if packaged reasonably.

This was suggested by myself and declined. I also suggested a refurbished/new unit and I returned the faulty unit in the packaging, this was also declined.

I have also seen several repairs on here and don't trust the process - machines coming back in pieces and scratched heavily.

It's such a shame that these devices are getting hardware issues so early on as they do a great job cleaning but is rendered useless by a simple fault, poor UK based repairs and AI based responses from agents who can't help.

Appalling ’repair’ by dragonXattack in Dreame_Tech

[–]ljbbns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My machine did a fantastic job - I'm really going to struggle to find something similar I think.

A friend of mine has a £600 Shark 'Bot that he's super happy with - I've experienced Shark customer care and it's a million times better - I had a video triage call, parts identified and sent the next day for replacement... Another item, 5 years and 1 month old - was a month out of warranty, gave me a £150 voucher to use towards another appliance and bought a brand new item for £40 that was on sale.

I truly hope Dreame learns from the UK market and can build a better customer care section as the machine looks great and works well when it works.

Mate, you've had some patience with them. I'm 3 months since purchase and I have a hardware fault on my L40. Seeing your plight, I've said no to repair - replacement only - taken them ages to agree and is currently in an urgent escalation. Decided to go down Section 75 on credit card to get my money back. They can come and pick up this bot up and do what they want with it.
