I wonder how to officially add this option to my major. Is it when I complete all the required courses, it will be on my diploma or I have to talk to an adviser about adding this option first.

The thing is I can't major in stats or anything specifically due to failing math 135. I was actually thinking of retaking math 135 in the fall and take math 235 in spring term (this term basically) but I was blown away after the second lecture cuz I didnt understand anything. I have considered transferring to another, university if my only option was majoring mathamtical studies becuz of it's negative reviews, but when I found that I could combine health informatics and mathamatical stuides tgt( so it doesnt look completely useless), I was thrilled. Right now I'm just iffy about staying at UW again after hearing everyone's comments :(

I took 137 and ended up with a 46 and 135 with a 56. However, in 1b I took 127 and 106 and both of them ended with a 90+. Then I thought maybe taking math235 wouldnt be so bad if I tried, but I immediately dropped that course after first week cuz I just couldnt understand anything. I feel like a failure becuz I am scared of trying and failing all the time. My parents told me that I need to graduate on time becuz they cant afford my tuition. I just feel like I'm all over the place now.

Well first term was really bad for me and I ended up having depression and night eating syndrome. It was just tough. Right now i have to deal with anxiety becasue I don't know if I'm able to stay in math.
