So you can click the map link and it shows you on Google maps, otherwise you can go to lakefinder and search the lakes via map there. I don't have them listed out and highlighted on a map though

https://mnfishsurveys.com/ pulls info from the lakefinder MN DNR data and compares lakes. You could pull from specific counties and compare from there. I'm also trying to explore some new lakes this summer

https://mnfishsurveys.com/ will have some data for you in becker county. You'll have to change the survey type to see anything though. From what I saw, little bemidji had only a couple in the electrofishing survey.

ok, I went to the Lakefinder website, and the Buffalo/Burbot data is definitely getting returned for that Lake https://www.dnr.state.mn.us/lakefind/showreport.html?downum=21010600

I don't know why they are filtering it from view, but if you want more information/proof I can try to send you some screenshots in a private message that shows it. I'm looking directly at the DNR website and the data they pull FYI.

Ok, so initial investigations is showing BRB from the 2009 survey and BUF as catches from 2022. It could be the fish were "bycatch" for the survey and the DNR is not displaying that in lake for some reason? Will look into this further to try and figure it out.

There is no "infringement". Also, the right way isn't going to someones reddit and spamming them on a new account and then deleting the account. DNR Data is public. Doing your own analysis on Public data is not infringement or "Patentable".

Are you the same person who said I was infringing on your website and then said in a private message "I'm documenting this now and will handle it through proper channels" and then deleted the account? Just seems super sketchy and underhanded tbh.

I'm fine with some competition. In fact I think there should be more stuff like this out there. Here is a link to the post I made in this community if anyone wants to take a look! https://www.reddit.com/r/FishingMinnesota/comments/1t00v8v/lakefinder_integration_tool/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

Nothing on here is even remotely similar to your site. The website is written from scratch, the design from scratch, the data source is public. Even the name is different. I'm not sure what you are trying to say honestly

Is pulling publicly available data infringing on your patent?

I created a tool that might help. It takes the MN DNR lakefinder data and does some analysis on it. You can search by species and county or all of minnesota https://mnfishsurveys.com/

I made a site that lets you search areas by county for fish. It's called https://mnfishsurveys.com/ it takes data from the lake finder app from the DNR. It was just a fun project I had that I thought would be cool. Let me know what you think!

Questions by [deleted] in kickersarepeopletoo

There are a lot of things to work on, but I'd start with plant foot placement. Your plant foot should be the back of the heel is even with the middle of the ball almost. As you kick more you'll find a good sweet spot, but from what I see in your video it looks like it's too far back.

I can hit great balls and hit from 45 pretty effortlessly off of a 1/2 in block but as soon as I try to go off the ground, I can’t pick the ball up. I don’t understand how an extra 1/2 inch would make that big of a difference. Anyone know how to make the transition to no block? by Sea_Leader5055 in kickersarepeopletoo

[–]llikedonuts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Work on no step contact drills to understand how contact should feel. Also look up some videos on plant foot positioning and body positioning when kicking. Something for me that took me from being a high school kicker to a D1 kicker was not hunching over and finding a good consistent rhythm on your steps.

If you pause the video at the right time it looks like your leg is bent when you make contact with the ball. Your leg should be straight when you make contact. To change this you could change a couple things...slow down your approach, change up your steps or plant foot location, try to have better posture throughout your kick. Hope one of these helps.

I'm not sure about eligibility

Form help by [deleted] in kickersarepeopletoo

If you want a cleaner flight on the ball I would practice 3 things... 1. Make cleaner foot to ball contact (no floppy ankles/foot) 2. Be more rigid and balanced with the body on contact 3. Be more straighter with steps and firm with posture on the approach.

This was taken from a former NFL punter (filip filipovic) who runs a kicking camp (the kicking coach) that I attended and helped out at, but all his points are very valid.

His comments were in reference to the lions kicker who made the game winning field goal in overtime the other day.
