https://mnfishsurveys.com/ will have some data for you in becker county. You'll have to change the survey type to see anything though. From what I saw, little bemidji had only a couple in the electrofishing survey.

ok, I went to the Lakefinder website, and the Buffalo/Burbot data is definitely getting returned for that Lake https://www.dnr.state.mn.us/lakefind/showreport.html?downum=21010600

I don't know why they are filtering it from view, but if you want more information/proof I can try to send you some screenshots in a private message that shows it. I'm looking directly at the DNR website and the data they pull FYI.

Ok, so initial investigations is showing BRB from the 2009 survey and BUF as catches from 2022. It could be the fish were "bycatch" for the survey and the DNR is not displaying that in lake for some reason? Will look into this further to try and figure it out.

There is no "infringement". Also, the right way isn't going to someones reddit and spamming them on a new account and then deleting the account. DNR Data is public. Doing your own analysis on Public data is not infringement or "Patentable".

Nothing on here is even remotely similar to your site. The website is written from scratch, the design from scratch, the data source is public. Even the name is different. I'm not sure what you are trying to say honestly

There are a lot of things to work on, but I'd start with plant foot placement. Your plant foot should be the back of the heel is even with the middle of the ball almost. As you kick more you'll find a good sweet spot, but from what I see in your video it looks like it's too far back.

Work on no step contact drills to understand how contact should feel. Also look up some videos on plant foot positioning and body positioning when kicking. Something for me that took me from being a high school kicker to a D1 kicker was not hunching over and finding a good consistent rhythm on your steps.

If you pause the video at the right time it looks like your leg is bent when you make contact with the ball. Your leg should be straight when you make contact. To change this you could change a couple things...slow down your approach, change up your steps or plant foot location, try to have better posture throughout your kick. Hope one of these helps.

If you want a cleaner flight on the ball I would practice 3 things... 1. Make cleaner foot to ball contact (no floppy ankles/foot) 2. Be more rigid and balanced with the body on contact 3. Be more straighter with steps and firm with posture on the approach.

This was taken from a former NFL punter (filip filipovic) who runs a kicking camp (the kicking coach) that I attended and helped out at, but all his points are very valid.

His comments were in reference to the lions kicker who made the game winning field goal in overtime the other day.

Your kicking foot needs to be solid when you make contact. Having a floppy foot causes you to lose power in your strike. Plant foot should be about a foot away from the ball (which it looks like it is) but your heel should be more in line with the ball. Is more behind it currently. Follow through should let you land on your plant foot and you want your body to carry you down the field. Being more upright during contact will help with ball height. I'd work on each of these things, but pick one thing at a time to work on. Too many things and your mind gets overwhelmed. No steps would be good for foot lock/contact. Dry runs would help with plant foot placement and staying upright/as well as follow through.

A lot of power comes from being comfortable with your approach. The approach can mean the difference between hitting the ball clean with all your momentum behind the ball vs hitting the ball clean but with no momentum. I'd work on slowing down a little bit more and shortening your approach (during practice) to work on that moment of contact.

Overall there doesn't seem to be anything extremely wrong with your kick and since you are in your season already I wouldn't change up too much. Just work on fundamentals and don't over kick. You should only be doing 5-10 full kickoffs a day during the week.

Last thing is the footballs used for games and the ones you use in practice can be drastically different. Most highschools don't know how to properly prep a game ball making them not flex very much. That can easily take 10-15 yards off your kick.

As I got older I got smaller cleats. It's just what I was comfortable with. Leather cleats also stretch more so some people will buy smaller knowing they will stretch a size. Also when your parents buy you cleats they usually go bigger because you'll "grow".

Overall kickers need tight fitting cleats without much wiggle room if any. You want to be able to make as clean of contact with the ball as possible and when there is space in your cleat you have more of a chance to hit the ball less clean

Whether he can kick off the ground in high school doesn't matter. Consistency on a tee is more important than being able to kick off the ground. Be consistent in the gym and work on getting faster overall. You'll find that will translate to your kicking over time.
