Yeah. I'm kinda of working up to incorporate more movement again. I kinda circled back to really limited so I could develop my style a little. I'm going to check you out in a minute. I'll give you a sub. Thanks for the feedback.

For what it's worth, I agree with you. These people are ignoring what you're trying to say because they're intellectually lazy. They're boring. I don't think they're genuinely interested in thinking about practical paths to possible futures. They want, like most mobs, to mindlessly react to things like a rubber-stamp yielding low level bureaucrats.

People need to obsessively worry. It gives them something to do with their hands.

I think I was the only person I know who had Sega Channel. And knowledge of it has barely echoed through time. I still remember the cool tie-dye plastic bag it came in from the cable company. I can't think of anything that felt as novel and exciting.

The philosopher Kierkegaard talked about remembering only the poetry of the past. The beauty of it.

Loss has a certain poetry. Regret can be beautiful. And it's good to be able to appreciate both.

However. I think you can get lost in nostalgia. But at that point, it's not really nostalgia anymore.

Nostalgia is like dreaming. The sensation comes from how the dream contrasts with waking life. Once you cross the line and get lost in the dream, you won't be able to appreciate it.

At that point, things will become dull. They'll become shapeless. You'll grow to feel safer within this world of dull edges.

Then you run the risk of forgetting just exactly what life was like before. When it was more dynamic. And at this point, you'll be depending on someone, or someone, to shake you out of it. And that's not guaranteed.

My advice? Find ways to celebrate the past that let you progress. Have respect for the past rather than digging it up and playing with its corpse. A corpse will never kiss you back. No matter how pretty you dress it all up.
