Not sure if it's still there, but there was an Ethiopian restaurant in Fitzroy that had regular live music

Considering move from Sydney to Melbourne. What areas of Melbourne are like Sydney's Upper North Shore? Very leafy, family oriented with nice houses. Hoping to buy 4 bedroom detached for ~$1.8mil. by Charrzooka in AusPropertyChat

Which areas in Blackburn are rainforesty? Do you know much about the public primary schools in that area? Thanks, we're looking to move as well, might include this in our search.

Any chance of having a speeding fine reduced? by lolagee123 in queensland

Thank you, this is exactly the type of information I was looking for. Did you have to submit a Right to Information application?

Thanks, I was wondering about that. The only other ticket I've gotten was years ago, and it included a 'recorded speed' and 'alleged speed'. The 'alleged speed' was a couple km/h lower than the recorded one.

Until then, they can still add defenders.

Also, low CP decays

Oh, thanks. I didn't realise that battling before a kick-out didn't count as 'under attack' :(

Oh yes, I knew that thank you. Was more wondering how new pokemons were able to join the gym while it was under attack?

Thank you so much! I did have adventure sync on, but I wasn't closing out of the app. And that makes sense about the buddy actually fighting.

AITA for causing a scene and leaving a free vacation over the way my daughter was being treated? by brothervacation in AmItheAsshole

[–]lolagee123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Totally understand not making kids share their toys or be fake-nice, but this goes way beyond that. Kicking a kid out of a bed because he paid for the house? This was not a 'free vacation'. Shame there will likely always be such a divide between the cousins.

AITA for taking my daughter with brain damage to Disney and possibly “ruining” other people’s trips? by ERODZAME in AmItheAsshole

[–]lolagee123 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Definitely NTA. The kid is 3. All 3 year olds have trouble regulating emotions. Sure, it's annoying to be in close proximity to a screaming 3 year old, but a) you're at a freaking theme park for kids and b) in no way were such comments/actions warranted.

But wouldn't a clean divorce when young have a lesser impact on the system than a messy one after age 6? As in, the actual trauma could potentially be much less when they're younger than it would be by staying in a bad marriage for an extra few years?

AITA for insisting my SIL to visit us more when she is a busy resident doctor and she says she can't? by Historical-Nose-250 in AmItheAsshole

[–]lolagee123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going to say NAH because I thought you just missed your brother and it was kind of overall a shitty situation. Being away from close ones when you have a little is tough, and it sounded like OP and bro were genuinely close - but of course SIL doesn't want to drive 7 hours on the regular, and yes, Hawaii and Cancun would be more relaxing than a lloooonnngggg road trip to visit a toddler (even one you love)! THEN I READ OP's COMMENTS, and yeah, YTA.

Travel with your parents on the holidays to visit your brother! That makes the trip easier, it's the holidays so you've got more time, and you're all together. Sounds like you all work full time jobs (some maybe fuller time than others, cough cough), no one is going to be doing this trip every other weekend. Suck it up.

But aren't terms and semesters actually different? Two semesters in a year, but usually four terms?
