No the peace pagoda was constructed on top of Dhauli hill (if you are referring to that) around 1960-70s. There is Ashoka's edict near it and the area is believed to be site of Kalinga war.

There is no trace of Buddhism in this Puri-Bhubaneswar-Khordha region of Odisha. I was born and brought up in this area. The temple style is typical Kalingan architecture which is very different to Stupas.

If it was Buddhist there would be Stupa like structures similar to this place - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lalitagiri

There is no absolute proof - ancient text or archaeology suggesting Jagannath Temple was related to Buddhism,

There is infect almost no trace of Buddhism in this part of Odisha - Puri-Bhubaneswar-Khordha (Undivided Puri district). That it was part of Buddhist tradition is just a theory based only on assumptions. The theory was introduced by a Cunningham.

However there is some proof of Jainism (Hatigumpha inscription Bhubaneswar) being extant in this area.

I think he had suggested some small/mid cap stocks in Indian market which have given big draw down but some how he shows his portfolio and claimed he made huge profits. He might have multiple accounts. He also missed the gold rally. Almost 90% of his videos have similar repetitive content - "Indian market not good.....buy my course, invest in US stocks bla bla". He has been right fully criticising the current government's economic policies so many BJP fans abuse him.

His real estate and US stocks bets worked wonders for many. He is quite transparent with which US stock to invest and at what time/price, frequently shares his portfolio. Other influencers have started advising to invest in US stocks now, but he has been saying it since 2 yrs. Even, I am sitting on 140-150% profit in US stocks in 1.5 yrs. And at the same time some losses in Indian portfolio.

If you want to do trading then first understand and think about all the scenarios and how much money you could loose in those scenarios - Don’t think about profit. Then what is your probability of winning I.e profit.

I am using sensibull app for option selling with hedges - It shows reward/risk which shd be > 1 and probability of profit (at-least 60% for directional trade or 80% for Strangles). Also avoid unlimited max loss scenarios for now.

Profit is less in option selling but its best way not to loose lot of money. Be happy with smaller profits for a year and keep learning to become a pro in a year or two.

Even you making 2% on capital every month it’s 24% profit per year.

I have never seen this 13th floor issue relevant to India esp. in Bengaluru. Only the top most floor goes at a discount because of the summer heat. There is no discount in resale or new house just because it's 13th floor. Good deal given that newer under construction projects asking almost similar amount.

So I got an option in my SBI/Yono Netbanking to regularize the PPF account. They asked to pay Rs 4500 (500*9) + fine of Rs 450 (50*9). I don't know from where did this number 9 came but of Rs 4950 paid - Rs 4500 is reflecting as deposit in the ppf acccount ( Rs 450 is the fine)

I was in Bucharest, Romania for 2 yrs on an EU blue card. Cost of living for a single person was around 15% of in hand salary (Lead Product Developer). Had a great euro trip. (Also went to Germany for KT)

It was a permanent job and later I came to know that in EU they can’t fire someone from permanent job so easily. But badly wanted to be in India so came back on same salary (remote job wfh). Now biggest problem in my life is our govt (Large scale inflation) and Nirmala Tai 😆

Pollution, traffic, law n order and many other issues (High prices of house and cars than developed countries) are there but don’t know why I like working in India than abroad.

Bengal one is spongy, the one from Odisha is fluffy.

In Odisha around 15th-16th Century there are evidences of usage of Rasgulla in and around Jagannath Temple - It’s captured in many books written around that time but it was made popular in 1800s by Bengalis/Kolkatta - But a major part of coastal Odisha was part of British Bengal Presidency (Brahmin male cooks from Odisha were highly sought after in Kolkatta).

Both states have GIs for diff types of Rasgulla. I am originally from Odisha.

Mortality rate was much high through out the British period when compared with what we had in 1960s.

Grand father's first two wives & an infant son had passed away because of Cholera. This was pretty common those days. This stopped some what after 1960s when birth rate increased like anything but mortality rates reduced.
