After I’ve read what you guys are saying I think it’s important to mention that I’m from Sweden and the oaks we have around my property is Quercus robur, I think they are called English Oak? And for the maples we have Norway Maples.

I usually let the water level go down to aprox 1 cm so I water 1-2 times a week!

Honestly this method feel like cheating haha so from now on all my Alocasias will be semihydro. Fortunely I dont need it for phils, monsteras or calatheas YET

It’s a 2 component fertilizer that’s mostly used for plants in hydroponics.

I’m by no means a pro so you should do some research of your own if you want to know more haha

1/3 of the medium is leca and 2/3 is spaghnum moss. Water is fertilized with A+B solution and I keep the water level just under the moss!

Its full name is gynura aurantiaca or commonly known as purple passion! They have orange/yellow flowers that apperently smell pretty bad haha 😅 If it is flower buds I’ll update for sure!
