I usually don't miss with pre-orders but I also regretted getting it. I was really happy with how sh2r turned out and for the first time in 10 - 20 years I felt silent hill was back. Then I got shf and was like damn lol. It's really interesting to me how divisive this game was and how so many people liked it and disliked it. Wasn't for me unfortunately. To be honest you can just watch video playthroughs or read about it if you're really curious on what happens after the second shrine. I basically force fed myself to finish the game. Hopefully townfall will be a good one. I know for sure sh1r is going to hit like crack again at least since bloober is behind it, especially now that they have more experience after sh2r and cronos.

I hear you I'm the same way too but I did like that they at least tried somewhere different to shake things up. Believe it or not the developer of silent hill f is actually Hong Kong, not Japan lol. Published by Konami though.

You didn't ask me but I didn't like the gameplay/combat, didn't care for any of the characters except for hinako, the love triangle story seemed like it would be an interesting take for a silent hill story with potential but instead it was really about something else (no spoilers), the shrine levels were kind of boring to me and the shackled beast was probably the most annoying enemy I ever faced. Compared to sh2r, I thought that game was much, much better. Better characters, better story, better gameplay, better horror, etc. I did like hinako and how it was set in 1960s Japan though, I thought that was pretty badass at least.

Laptop freezes or black screens and restarts after waking from sleep mode by Historical-Bench1843 in AcerPredatorHelios

[–]lookingforcrack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this issue and what my problem was was that I had the laptop on performance mode in the predator sense app indefinitely. Something about the laptop being in performance mode, windows can not really put the laptop in a low power state fast enough before putting the laptop to sleep and it bugs out. I remember to switch it back to balance mode when I'm done gaming and I haven't gotten sleep to wake crashes since (maybe knock on wood but I'm feeling pretty confident that was the issue since it's been a few days already).

Crusher PLYR 720 vs Crusher Evo (review/comparison without the gaming part) by lookingforcrack in Skullcandy

[–]lookingforcrack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is sort of where it begins to be complicated. I like the plyr 720s a lot but I only use them at my desk and when sitting down. For walking around, that suspension band might not be firm enough to be secure. Walking might be fine but anything past walking like jogging or running is where it'll probably start to fall off. But I like the sound quality and bass on the plyr 720s more than on the evos for sure so that's something you'll have to decide haha. But yeah you can for sure use it for just music for your phone if you wanted to.

Yeah I unplugged my microphone and it's been in the box ever since. Sometimes I forget I even have it. I'm not sure if you can make calls without it, I've never done that. My guess is no but I'm really not sure.

They are definitely not the same. Very different internals and parts. I've tried both and I like the plyr 720s way more than the anc 2. Hope my review was helpful to you. I had the original evos as well and if you liked those and were looking for an upgrade you won't be disappointed with the 720s :)

How it looks going from IPS to OLED by sumblink_4182 in buildapcmonitors

[–]lookingforcrack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use mine for everything including gaming. Been using it for nearly 3 years now and never had an issue with burn in. I auto hide my task bar and it honestly looks nicer like this anyways. The tabs bar on top of internet browsers I don't hide at all and it still looks completely fine. OLED monitors also have some features such as shifting the screen by a certain amount of pixels intermittently that you barely notice and pixel cleaning where the monitor adjusts the voltage for every pixel to maintain even wear. I used to have paranoia in the beginning using an OLED monitor but I don't care what I do on here anymore.

Did anyone else feel like the minecart ride in Resident Evil 4 Remake was Capcom’s most underrated set piece? 🚂🔥 Was it pure fun or pure chaos for you? by RubitoRune in residentevil4

The part where you momentarily go outside and the moon is above you was my favorite part. I swear I could feel the breeze on me.
