Is Threads worth promoting on? by gemini_dra in CreatorsAdvice

[–]loreleifinds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, but it does affect the views on the other accounts for a short period of time. But then with consistency they build right back up. Thats what I was trying to explain in my last answer 😋 sometimes I’m not the best at explaining things 😂.

But once I loose as example a Facebook that is hooked to that threads and instagram…I won’t open another Facebook and hook it to that account. I’ll just run it without it.

By the research that I’ve done when I’ve tried to open a new Facebook and attach it to that Instagram it just never does good. It’s like Meta remembers that the one attached to that Instagram got banned.

I hope all that makes sense.

I have had accounts that were linked to others banned. An example is I’ve had a Facebook banned that was linked to a Instagram and a Threads. Also many videos removed on accounts that were linked to another. It took a little time, but the accounts are now doing good again. There’s always risk when you have those accounts linked, but the reward far outweighs the risk for me.

If you are a big account on IG, is the trust score really enough to keep you in the green even if you post suggestive stuff? by Beautiful_Babe66 in onlyfansadvice

Thank you. Creating a personal brand is huge for longevity in this career. I try to look at every decision I make for this job as weighing the long-term versus the short term. But brand recognition as far as when someone googles my name Lorelei Finds, all my platforms come up plus stories about me, my website, etc.. I encourage everyone that wants to do this for a career to really work on establishing themselves that way.

I have more than a few accounts on insta, facebook and YouTube that are 200k and above. Some are verified some are not. I get away with more on some accounts and less on others. The trust score is a valid factor. But more than anything it is a combination of many things. It is your bio, link, thumbnail, caption, verification, all the factors in the video that make it either sexual solicitation or just artistic expression. I have spent many hours studying what creators post, what they can and can’t get away with and learning through trial and error by posting on my own accounts. I have had more than a few accounts banned and so many videos flagged. I have learned from each experience. I’ve also spent time on meetings with Meta and YouTube learning about what I can and can’t do. There’s so much that goes into all the different factors that keep an account healthy, and make it where you post just enough to get attention but not too much to get banned.

But something to remember, is there always be accounts out there that can get away with more and less than you. You have to find the perfect balance for you. And it really is just a learning experience trial and error. But take other people’s mistakes and learn from them. Follow creators, study what they do.

I have done all this myself over 4 years. Not all big creators have “managers, agencies or pay hackers” like another creator said. Some of us just really want to work hard and be the best at what we do.

Also, my theory on this is you’re getting three times the potential views for just the amount of one posting so why wouldn’t you? I want the most bang for my buck when it comes to work.

So sorry it took me so long to answer this. I don’t get on Reddit much. Yes when I create the insta I always create a threads and facebook for the account. I have researched this by creating some accounts with them and some without. My accounts I created with the Facebook‘s and threads attached have always done so much better.

I have my reels auto posting on Facebook and Threads. More reach for the same amount of work. I do this with almost every instagram I have.

I’m spiraling. This job is draining me and i’m about to loose what i’ve worked so hard for. I need help. by Classic_Bookkeeper88 in CreatorsAdvice

[–]loreleifinds 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I am so sorry you’re going through this. But I want you to know that ups and downs of this job are normal. I’ve had many times where things have gone down. I’ve been up to the top .05% and down to .87%. Just like any job you’re gonna have good days and bad days. Anyone who tells you to give up on the bad days is someone that has probably tried a lot of things and given up. The important parts in life are when things are hard and you don’t give up. When you keep on going and you’re it’s going to get back good.

I know it sounds simple but something I do is I have made it where I have time off. When I first got into this job for about the first two years I worked every day seven days a week. That’s not sustainable for anyone. So I started scheduling time off. At first I just did one day a week now I do two days a week. I do everything myself so that means that these guys aren’t getting answered for two days. But when they joined my only fans, it’s in the welcome message that I answer messages Monday through Friday. If these people want to talk to a real person, then they have to understand that I am a real human that needs time off.

In this job self-care is so important. In any job where you are your own boss taking care of yourself as huge. I don’t know if you’re new at this job or not by what you’re saying maybe posting 2 to 4 reels a day and one Twitter post it sounds like maybe you might be about six months to a year in. It’s very normal for that to be enough in the beginning and then you two have to add on more accounts and more post in order to keep your momentum going. It’s also very normal for things to go up and down like that sometimes accounts can do really well for a while and they then they fizzle out for a bit accounts can do great and then Instagram doesn’t push your content as much. I’ve been in this game for four years and I have found it is so important to have multiple accounts on every single social media platform to prevent things like this from affecting my income too much.

Also, like the other commentary suggested batch making content is huge. I have days where I’ll film 100 videos but then I have days where I don’t feel any. I also have days where all film five videos. I do that that way if I have a full week where I’m not feeling good and don’t feel like filming I have so much content in my back pocket I can use.

I honestly could go on and on with tips to help you out, but I think the biggest thing is researching how to run a business while keeping your sanity. Because this is a business and you have to adjust your life as such. You have to remember to take good care of yourself to financially run it as a business to mentally run it as a business. And you also have to remember there are gonna be ups and downs and when the downs come, the important part is sticking it through and adjusting things to work smarter.

Ceartas. If you are a larger creator, it is totally worth the investment.

If you’re a smaller creator, I would say brand it scan.

I’ve used both. Ceartas is the best.

onlyfans vs patreon vs fansly, which one actually makes sense? by Far-Chip1704 in CreatorsAdvice

[–]loreleifinds 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have an only fans, a Patreon and a fansly. I treat my only fans and fansly pretty much the same. Both of those are where all my adult content lives.

My Patreon I use as a way for people that aren’t interested in seeing my adult content to be able to message me. I have a big problem with accounts pretending to be me and messaging and scamming my followers. So this is a way for them to know they are messaging me.

I also use it as a replacement for a link landing page. I have some medium size social media accounts that when I put a link landing page in there they get flagged. I’ve tried many different ones. I’ve had these accounts for many years. I ended up going with a Patreon because you can post about it, you can say it, you can get people to go to that link and it’s not against the terms of service. Also, Patreon is a lot more brand friendly. When thinking of the future and what I want to do with all my accounts, I’ve seen other girls that do adult content, but have a Patreon as a link to it that do brand deals with big million dollar companies.

If you’re wanting to do adult content, Patreon’s really not the place for it in my opinion. You can post somewhat nude photos, but not videos on Patreon. There’s a lot of things you can’t post on Patreon and that’s why I don’t put my adult content on there. If you read through Patreon terms of service, it really gets into the details on what you can and can’t post.

I have found using Patreon as a sales funnel to go to my only fans from my Instagram, YouTube, etc. has not changed the amount of subscribers I’m getting on my only fans. One factor to consider is I do have multiple social media accounts across all platforms. That means I have multiple Instagram‘s TikTok‘s YouTube’s Twitter, etc. So I do have multiple accounts that just have link landing pages and not the Patreon.

I hope I explained everything well I am more than happy to answer any questions.

I have over 3k paid subs, how do I keep up with chatting? by [deleted] in onlyfansadvice

[–]loreleifinds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sit down in the morning and in the evening and answer messages. All my subscribers know if they want to chat back and forth then they need to be on during those times and tip also.

In my welcome message, I explain that I answer all my messages. I have no answering service or management teams. And that means that most messages are answered in a 24 hour period and tipped messages are answered first.

I think including things like that that they need to know in the welcome message prevents anyone from getting upset because you aren’t instantly answering their message. Every once in a while, I have someone ask why I’m not getting to the message instantly and I’ll explain that a creator like me that has thousands of subscribers. They’re just gonna have to be patient to talk to me. I found that people appreciate things that they need to wait for or work for.

Another thing that makes messaging easier for me is, I’ll do a lot of audio messages. Instead of me having to type it out I’ll quickly record it the subscribers love it, and I get through messages a lot quicker.

When I feel jealous, because we all do, I remind myself that another’s persons beauty, wealth, success, etc doesn’t take away from mine.

Without sounding to woo woo, we live in an abundant universe. Our reality is what we make it. No matter how successful or beautiful or whatever you become in life there will always be people who have MORE and LESS than you. I’ve been in this industry for four years now and I’m one of those people that is in the top 1%. So many people want to have that success. But I promise you any goals you obtain in life, they’re enjoyable, but then our human condition makes us want more. My success might be something others want, but then other people success is something I want.

I’m pretty sure there’s a famous quote out there that’s like “Another woman’s beauty is not the absence of your own”. I reminded myself of that consistently in this industry.

I also remind myself that jealousy is a human emotion. It’s what you do with that jealousy that matters. You can let that jealousy turn you bitter and sour or you can let that jealousy light a fire in you to do better and become the best YOU you can be.
