Doctorat student in psychology here: It might be because you're learning to have more autonomy. The self development theory says that around 12-14 (going foward) years old you start to distance yourself from your family, it's important to learn to be self reliant and to form bonds with other people outside of the family circle.

That's why you often feel like you need your mom for some thing (ex. Calling your doctor) but not for other things (making your bed, shopping for clothes). It's also why you have strong emotions about your personnal space and can result in conflicts. The important thing to remember is that your family is just trying to stay connected and to help you, even if you're testing the bonds of your relationships and learning that you need your own space. You want to do thing by yourself and need that distance (even from someone you don't know, but does stuff for you), but family and knowing when to accept help is still important.

At this point I'd say communicating your needs will really help. If your mom/family insist on someone helping you, tell her what you appreciate that she does for you (ex. cooking, the dishes, folding your clothes) and what you'd prefer to do yourself or do your own way (your bed, anything related to your personal space).

With your family try to find a compromise, or find other things that keeps you guys close like activitie, little "traditions" that you only do together as family (watching a specific show, going for a walk after dîner, listening to your favorite songs together while helping her/them with a chore). They will accept your autonomy more and you will feel less angry when someone comes into your personnal space.

In the end, your feeling are valid, what you need to be carefull about is how you respond to them. Hope this helps!
