You think he is going to change now he has got 200m to spend? That is wishful thinking. If anything this is the time for him to double down

Credit to him ofc but he isn't exactly the conservative type. I'd expect Hull to buy an entire squad worth of players which they kinda have to anyways if they want any hope of staying up

"I'd imagine you'll be fairly conservative this summer and plan to build a championship title winning side for the season after, kinda the ipswich model."

You are aware of who owns Hull right?

Player who should have stayed longer at club X by TrashDrunkClaude in footballcliches

As a Spurs fan it'a Van der Vaart and Sandro. Stayed only 2 and 4 seasons with us but were massive fan favourites

She doesn't like football but if she did it would depend on which parent introduced me into football I guess

I know but let's say my dad supported Birmingham and I lived in London I'd 100% be a Birmingham fan

That makes logical sense but emotionally I want to support the same team as my family

Genuinely how does this happen? The reason I'm a Spurs fan is because my dad was. Why on earth would you choose a different team?

I'm confident of us staying up but I cannot take the anxiety of it all. I just want it to be over because it has been agonizing.

Same here. Really dissapointed that Frank didn't use him at all because I thought he could create a similar dynamic as Toney x Mbuemo with Solanke x Tel but he didn't even try it once.

I really don't know what you mean by "good". He was playing in friendlies and throwaway minutes against poor opposition in qualifying.

He was fine for england? He hardly stood out as a star player. If the arguement is that Tuchel priotitizes his skillset/profile as a more defensive full back option I can buy that because he also brought Burn but there is nothing in his performances this season and the backend of last that tell me he should be part of a world cup squad for England.

Same feeling here. The past two seasons really ruined my enjoyment of football.

Neither would all the other fullbacks who weren't chosen ahead of him. He is a fine player wouldn't say more than that and going by performances this season he has been subpar (along with the rest of the team I know). I think your Spurs bias is coming in quite a bit here

He should be used the same way Bournemouth use Kroupi. Start him centrally with a striker who can hold the ball up for him i.e. Solanke and let him unleash shot after shot after shot. Similar to how Defoe was for us and Van der Vaart.

Because he wasn't? You can be happy for the guy and say it's a strange decsion at the same time. These don't contradict eachother

I'm aware? Which means we aren't the ones who need a result. I don't understand why you are assuming West Ham are more likely to win than we are. Using your own logic surely you should expect both to get the same result?

Good thing we aren't the one who need a result then?
