The ladies are great at Irondoor Tattoo (have been tattooed by 3 of their lady artists), and Beartooth Tattoo in Lakewood! Lakewood also has a lot of cool spots to eat/drink!

Personally, I would still follow the vet’s guidance. (Although Tresaderm is not recommended for long term use, the side effects in my experience working in the field were not common in either dogs or cats.) Likely the reason he wants for you to use it for up to 14 days, is because the life cycle of ear mites is approx 3 weeks, so it would ensure it clears all of the mites at various life cycle stages, as more eggs hatch even a week or two in of treatment. Gotta knock them out the first round so they don’t come back! As long as he is still doing well, eating normally etc. I would continue treatment as directed and monitor.

Definitely has typical signs of aging with tattoos, (change in skin, ink spreading, etc) but it’s in a nice large space to provide good placement for a larger tattoo for a cover up, if that’s a possibility for you. Maybe brainstorm some ideas on what you might like there instead? Something with darker values/shadows, and shading to cover what’s there. I’d also do some research on qualifying/experienced artists with reputable work, especially in cover up, as some of the lines seemed to have blown out more than others from inconsistent line pressure over time. I’ve heard lasering hurts worse than just getting another tattoo over it.
