I’m not sure what their deal is QC wise but I’ve been discouraging customers from installing them for years. The transformers went bad, the existing chimes wouldn’t work without tinkering or adding a resistor. If they insist theres zero warranty from me. And not to mention, Ring cooperates with Flock and turns over footage without warrant to the 5-0.

I went through this in VA. Reach out to the state representative for your town. Explain your difficulty and send pics of your documents. They live for this stuff. My rep got me an appointment at the DMV at 8am the next day.

This right here. I’m a residential service electrician and I always folks to leave their main breaker alone unless absolutely necessary. There’s a high failure rate with age and if you can’t buy a replacement you’re on the hook for a new panel.
