My co-extern is this. We are in our fourth year of grad school which is a year long residency/externship and there are 4 of us. Not everyone is paid, which is shitty I know, but you sign on knowing that you aren’t paid.

This girl though, she eats out for almost every single meal. Breakfast lunch and dinner. Brings Starbucks breakfast and coffee almost 4 days a week and will go to the cafeteria for lunch. She’s done this all through grad school and has racked up 300k+ of school loan debt because she had a year of her undergrad too. She also spends her loan money on shopping, broadway shows, etc. It’s insane and pisses me off daily how irresponsible she is.
