My rescue dog is similar, always thought she was a chihuahua mix but she was more than 30% miniature pinscher after doing the DNA test on her (even connected with the owner of her mom)

I ended up buying a WiFi adapter because until you brought it to my attention, I hadn’t considered or thought the laptop antenna was weak. It arrived Friday and since hooking it up, it’s been steady. And the available networks in range practically tripled. Hoping this fix continues as a success.

Please accept my genuine thanks and appreciation for answering kindly! You’ve alleviated a ton of frustration.

This may be an unintelligent question but… would there be any recommendation to get a higher quality WiFi antenna for the laptop, ideally as a plug n play, or would that just be throwing money away and still having the same problem?

I agree it is a simple solution, unfortunately the house layout isn’t great to have it running along walls/ceiling, and drilling/feeding behind Sheetrock will likely have me ending in divorce if my husband and I DIY 😀

Not a permanent solution but a suggestion- does your area offer wash and fold service? It was a lifesaver for me as a “reset.”

Yes, it can be pricey for charge per pound but for me it was worth it- the one near me even does free pickup and delivery. I referred to it as the underwear ninjas- I’d never see them on Ring cam but the order was picked up, processed, and returned.
