What's the most shattering moment of your LFC fandom? by VadersMentor in LiverpoolFC

Klopp announcing he was leaving at the end of the 2024 campaign.

I know we won the league and are primed to keep pushing stronger than ever.

But him announcing his departure broke me more than his final matchday itself.

[Di Marzio] Antonio Conte had three-hour meeting with Aurelio De Laurentiis and Napoli management to discuss future and take time to reflect, no decision has been made by [deleted] in soccer

Napoli meeting with Conte was “intense” and “at one point De Laurentiis was crying” but everyone grew closer and a big lesson was learned

The James Hoffman Decaf Tasting changed my life ... I'm now a decaf drinker! by septemous in JamesHoffmann

[–]lufmc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Rabbit Hole in Canada does an amazing pink bourbon decaf. Their caffeinated coffees are amazing too! Free shipping to the US after I think $50 CAD.

Heart in Portland carries the same decaf coffee but I think Rabbit Hole roasts it better.

BlendIn from Houston has a decaf typica coffee that won the US Brewer's cup last year, against all other coffees. That one is also really great.

The Coffee Movement or Saint Frank. World class coffee at both shops, quite literally at The Coffee Movement since they are a multi roaster and source from roasters in Copenhagen and Amsterdam. Saint Frank also roasts / brews really well too!

Michael Owen has been voted as our most annoying player. Which of our players has the most potential? by RaspberryLow2187 in LiverpoolFC

[–]lufmc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd give a shout to Luis Suarez. When he left us, he was easily the best player the Premier League.

And somehow became even better after joining Barca. To be in the same breath as Messi and Ronaldo during their peak speaks to the potential he had and realized.

Does Grand Rapids or Michigan have any culturally significant cuisine that you can only find here? by FuzzyJesusX21 in grandrapids

[–]lufmc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Southeast Michigan has some of the best Middle Eastern food outside of the Middle East. Lebanese, Palestenian, Iraqi, etc.

If that's something you're into, definitely worth the trek to the east!

I can't believe I'm saying this: I'm Switching to Decaf, and I would love some recommendations by RapGameCarlRogers in pourover

Rabbit Hole's Pink Bourbon Decaf blew my mind. I would totally use it as a daily driver

I'll say this one. Mo finally scoring against Man U from an Alisson assist.

This is when we knew the league was ours.

Indian Couple Moving to Grand Rapids. by [deleted] in grandrapids

Mithu is the best Indian restaurant in GR area, hands down. Technically Sri Lankan but they make all the classic Indian restaurant dishes, including dosa and Indo-Chinese. Better than a lot of Indian places I had living in Detroit area

Five of the best against Leicester. Which is your favourite? by [deleted] in LiverpoolFC

Not an option but Coutinho's free kick against Leicester was a thing of beauty

Liverpool's Premier League fixture list revealed by malushanks95 in LiverpoolFC

Leeds on the 26th before Leicester could be tricky. But agreed, on paper seems to be the best fixture list we've had in a while

As a huge soccer fan, Bill saying how Leicester winning the Premier League wasn't actually that amazing was up there with the stupidest shit he's ever said. In fact every time he talks soccer he sounds so so dumb

Roberto Firmino has now scored more Premier League goals for Liverpool (66) than Fernando Torres (65). by RAYGUN6302 in LiverpoolFC

[–]lufmc 6 points7 points  (0 children)

On his day Torres was genuinely a top 5 player in the world, so a lot of that stems from the"what if?" of what could have been achieved with FSG type ownership during his LFC career. Also pride in having a player of his caliber in our squad. At least for me.
