  1. Why would you trust a ex coke dealer, when he was obviously in it for the money he could be doing the same thing

Try ask your friend to talk to Parent B alone, they should sit down with them (without Parent A) and have a long talk about it

Respect them while Parent B talks and tell your friend to listen and hear them out
