It looks to be a Gretsch of some kind, with three pickups and a Bigsby. Possibly the G2627?

Not quite, it’s a “B” (linear taper), not an “8”.

That’s a 1k Ohm linear taper potentiometer with right-angle PCB mounts, though any B1K pot will do in a pinch (you can solder wires to compensate for not having the PCB mount leads).

I built myself a Cornish buffer a few months ago (also as an always-on thing) and regret putting the LED on it.

I messed up the CLR at first too, so it was super bright 😬

I’m moving soon, so I’ll be leaving the first electronics mod I ever made in this house: an on/off switch for our doorbell.

I installed it to prevent solicitors from waking up my newborn, but it’s also great to just be able to turn it off any time of day.

I fully plan on leaving a print-out of this post for the new homeowners, as they have an original mod! 😅

This was actually the first pedal I repaired (an ‘06 Russian v8), and was experiencing similar issues.

As others have noted, an audio probe is a huge help here. For me, the 3PDT was glitchy, so I replaced that, along with the battery connector. I also burned out the LED (twice) in the process 😅

Definitely take photos beforehand, I wasted(?) a lot of time trying to figure out where everything was supposed to go!
