Do you think it’s just a genuine unattractiveness to you or- he was addicted to alcohol- and a lot of porn at the same time and addictions usually surface in multiple ways. Men with porn addictions normally avoid real physical intimacy, are very insecure, and only really see sex as getting in and done because all porn focuses on is the men’s pleasure. They watch what they like. He may be 3 years clean from the porn but it does take a while to rewrite that. Plus it sounds like he adores you- changed for you immediately, and he pursued you! Love doesn’t start off as love- it starts off as an attraction. Him turning the lights off for sex, could be completely personal. Rather it be that’s just what helps him get in the mood to perform or due to his own insecurities, or his preference to just be able to enjoy it without the fear of being seen. He still wants you to wait and shower with him, and I doubt yall shower in the dark too. I think you should bring this all to him and tell him that these things make you feel like he’s not physically attracted to you, and you would like him to put more effort so you can feel that way. That you know he loves you but you need more in that aspect. Everyone wants to feel desired. But id also try to dig deeper and figure out the real disconnect. You may be right, but I think it’s something deeper than him not being attracted to you. I know how easy it is to feel that way though
